"Unit was basically clean; maybe wouldn't have passed a white glove test in some areas but it is after all in a grove of trees. The description of "15 yds from lake" is probably correct BUT lake was nowhere to be seen from the unit, disappointing. Many lovely lakes are not far, however, and my son took me to them. I was gone during the day so can't comment on that, but evenings/nights the property itself was quiet. Traffic on the road running directly past the property was pretty constant through...

Fresh eggs from their chickens, homemade muffins (Strawberry/Rhubarb), homemade egg, sausage, cheese & grit casserole in the freezer that you can defrost and heat up if you want & fresh fruit. "This was the perfect stay with all the accommodations we could want. The place was very clean, updated and comfortable. Walking distance to downtown made it nice and easy to enjoy the area. I highly recommend this stay."

"A4 was very spacious and clean! The location was perfect! Our only complaints were parking (not a lot of parking around the building…all the parking was taken when we arrived..we had to pay $10 to park 2 blocks away) and the smell going up to the room was horrible (I think the smell from the Cuban restaurant was filling the hallway). Other than that, we had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Alpine Lofts are just as described. Excellent! They are located about a 5 minute walk into the 'thick' of Helen, which is close enough to buy things and drop them back at the apartment and then carry on again! The apartment is well equipped with everything you would need for a few days or a few weeks' stay. Everything was as new and clean. Just be aware if you stay that the stairs could be an issue for someone who is less mobile. I would return!"

While it is small, it is very nice and cozy and is the perfect stay for anyone wanting to stay in Helen, GA. Will definitely be returning in the future if the good Lord permits."
