Perfect for someone on an independent adventure or a couple looking for a cozy place to rest, this suite offers basic comforts to its guests from a flatscreen TV to an updated bathroom. The central location of this studio means that everything Helen has to offer is at your fingertips. Walk to a nearby restaurant or shop, explore the Helen Hiking Trail, or listen to the Chattahoochee River rush by. Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is about two miles away and the perfect local place to hit some golf balls. During the summer, head just two and a half miles north to Unicoi Lake and jump in its cooling waters.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Nice quiet stay

Unicoi unit was a comfortable, clean suite in the Upcountry Inn, in Helen, GA. Located between Betty’s Country Store and the Helen Presbyterian Church, it was quiet and close to pretty much everything. No need to drive and pay for parking. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying here. It’s small but for the two of us it was perfect being in walking distance to everything. Only thing this place needs is a full length mirror, everything else was great!

Unicoi in Helen Review

For the price, this quaint little place is the perfect local place. Our vacation was for the Helen experience, not extended stay, so this hotel-esque accomodations was perfect. Very clean, modernly furnished, and excellent location for this unit made it a perfect solution. Contrary to some reviews, the bed was very comfy. Bathroom was clean, with a spacious high water pressure shower.

The condo is located just on the outside of town. Perfect walking distance to downtown Helen restaurants and activities. Room was recently renovated and nicely appointed.

Hidden Fees and Dirty Towels.

The title pretty much sums it up. Based on the listed rate per night for this small room, I expected to pay a reasonable and moderate amount for 2 nights. Once I booked it, I found I was charged a large additional “owners fee” and a large “cleaning fee” …. that ballooned the price ro twice as much as listed! We could have rented a house for that amount. And, of course, it was all non refundable. even when booked 10 days in advance. The cleaning fee was a special joke because we found dirty wash cloths and towels left on the rack when we checked in. and had to remove them ourselves. The room itself was recently renovated and nicely decorated, but we cannot recommend it to anyone.

Suggestions: need more than two chairs on front porch and a table between would be nice. Also need a small table In room next to refrigerator and microwave. ALSO, amazed that at this rate there wasn’t at least a coffee pot! Great location!
