"My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay at Ashdown Park Hotel. The team are super friendly, our room was lovely and very clean and luxurious. The grounds are well kept and a pleasure to stroll around. There are good fitness facilities, however we were there for a romantic trip. We had a lovely evening meal, but feel that there could have been more choice. The breakfast was delicious and well made. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay special. "

"We realy enjoyed our stay. The proprietor, Jazz, couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, arranging check-in time at our convenience. It is a little noisy on a busy road, but has good double glazing, was quiet between 11pm and 6 am, and with ear-plugs we slept very well and uninterrupted. Highly reccommended. "

"Beautiful apartment. Very boutique like. I love the architecture and the windows that give it a bigger and spacious look. It's modern, and chic. I would stay here again. Only thing i need to mention, you do have to go up a few set of stairs, which was not a problem, but someone may find that useful to know. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff very friendly and helpful,food excellent, room spotlessly clean, would definitely return. Only issue for me with mobility issues was climbing into big bathtub with overhead shower and no grab handle! My fault should have enquired prior to booking! Cranbrook proved to be an excellent choice for visiting many places on my 'to do' list."

The service was great, from checking in, sorting out a parking permit, the breakfast & checking out. "Check-in was efficient room was on top floor within the roof, access from lift to room can be awkward as there are multiple steps. Room with single bed, mattress was bit soft but okay ensuite was good size shower was okay. Breakfast menu n food was good.. service was unclear whether it was self buffet or table service. Had to wait over 15mins before asked for Tea or coffee. Staff need better training."

"A lovely little place. Easy to access and close to the water. The only thing that was inconvenient was the parking. The suggested parking is a bit of a walk especially when you’re carrying luggage. I would recommend to drop the bags off first before parking or organise the parking permit. Other than that, it was a lovely stay. "
