"Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. "Had a great stay. Alison was a gracious host. She made reservations for us to eat dinner at a tasty restaurant nearby after we arrived late in the evening for our check in. And she even woke up early to have breakfast ready for us as we needed to head out early for the next part of our trip, even though we assured her we could just go without. Our room was clean and comfortable for our family of four. Definitely recommend. "
