Beautiful Property
Overall, we enjoyed this property despite a few minor disappointments. It is beautiful, spacious, easy to find and close to many must-see attractions. We also enjoyed the extras that were included with this rental, especially the kayaks!
The “minor disappointments” are no reason to not book this property, but worth noting as a heads up in hopes that others can be a bit more prepared than we were.
1. There is not an over abundance of kitchen items (plates, utensils, etc). If you don’t plan on preparing/eating most meals here, this is a non-issue. Also, we were never able to locate the pot for the coffee maker and had to resort to Dunkin’ for our caffeine fix.
2. Not being familiar with the area, we assumed that the kids could swim at the beach as long as they were on the lookout for jellyfish. Once there, we noticed a massive amount of dead jellyfish along the shore and local friends advised against swimming there. The kids swam in the pool instead, so again, not a huge issue, just not what we anticipated.
3. Shampoo/conditioner was not provided as we were told, but we brought our own so this wasn’t a concern for us, but could be for those who anticipate it being provided based in pre-stay communications.
4. Those who prefer a firm pillow should bring their own. I was able to make do by putting a quilt under mine to prop it up a bit.
With those items in mind while preparing for a stay, I would recommend this property.
