B&B en Havant

"Lovely old and fascinating English house in a beautiful setting, near to lots of interesting places. We enjoyed the breakfast which was efficiently served in a characterful room. Our bedroom was comfortable. We were disturbed by mosquitoes in the night and I was bitten. We had to close the windows but found a fan which helped cool us down and deterred the mosquitoes further. We would have liked to have had a later breakfast especially as it was Sunday . Although the breakfast service was...

"Ver helpful in arranging the parking. Well-kept home. Thanks"

"This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area."

"I stayed 4 nights and my room was not serviced properly. I had to get them to make my bed after I retuned daily. I cannot understand why this was not done. I did not go on a bus mans holiday to make beds I do that at home. The food was very good at breakfast. My room was well used. Toilet seat would not stay up and blind needed replacing. I was in room 2."

"This property is in an excellent location for Chichester centre and for Goodwood Racecourse. The owner was lovely. Friendly and approachable. Cleanliness is a priority for us and this accommodation was first class. Breakfast options were varied to suit all tastes and we loved the fresh fruit (not always the case in many places we have visited). It was a relaxing environment to start the day, especially chatting about Art. We have learned so much about Sculpture and certain Sculptors after our...

"Useful stopover on the South Downs way"

"A band was playing until 11.10pm on Friday night which was above the legal 11pm time limit.. (this was the time I was told this would be the time the band would finish. My room was above the band- so it's worth avoiding that room! It was called “Port” Breakfast was ok other than the mouldly brown bread, I didn't check if the kitchen was clean. Didn't get breakfast on the 2nd morning as I arrived downstairs at 9.15 am - doors all locked up. The room was clean and tidy - staff friendly"

"Staff extremely pleasant and helpful - food and amenities were really good"

"Excellent communication from the host. Rooms were bright and clean. Welcomed on arrival. Told in advance re parking situation. Hosts were very obliging. Would recommend."

"Very nice, easy parking, comfy bed."

"We had a wonderful stay at Woodacre B&B in Arundel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lovely hosts—and their charming dog, Benson, who instantly made us feel at home. Our room was beautifully appointed, spotless, and overlooked the serene garden, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The delicious breakfast each morning was a real treat—fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and a perfect start to the day. Communication before and during our stay was excellent, and the...
