"Very attractive exterior with colourful hanging baskets and tubs - clearly well looked after. Food was extremely good, both dinner and breakfast offered a fantastic choice. My single ensuite was small but perfectly fine with an efficient shower, tea/coffee facilities and TV, although internet was prone to buffering. Would certainly go back again."

"This is not a 4star hotel as described, it’s just a tired old pub that has some accommodation. The ‘deluxe’room that we had booked had stained carpets,sofa and cushions and was very basic. The two small bath towels and one hand towel provided were frayed. The menu is very basic in the pub. I had a pizza that was inedible as it tasted mouldy and looked horrible. "We stayed at the Pilsley Inn for one night to see Chatsworth on our way to Manchester. The pub food and service were great. We had 2 meals (dinner and breakfast) and both service and food were really very good. Servers and staff were attentive and hospitable. The location is also excellent.
