"You will love this comfort old but homey house. With lots of interesting route 66 memorabilia. Hosts was very responsive and helpful. Country market is well stocked with all you can eat brunch on Saturday and Sunday. Also very good Mexican close by."

"Oh my word this place is incredible. Bed was comfortable great location and the original aspects of the old building brought up to date with modern convenience. I think Jennifer and I will be getting more acquainted because I have a hard time finding a decent place to stay when I come to my hometown to visit. Carlinville is good little town close to my hometown and made attending my best friends wedding in Gillespie a breeze. We will be back."

"The house is beautiful. A very comfortable stay. It was very clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The host is very gracious. She was quick to respond to any request and reached out to us when we left something behind. We were able to retrieve it before leaving town. It was a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended."
