"Check in was very smooth- the host sent check in info well before we needed it so there was no hassle. This room was well renovated and clean. We only stayed one night but if we are ever back in Whitehall we would stay again! We were able to walk right to downtown restaurants. The streets are beautiful with mature trees. Check out instructions are on the door and very reasonable expectations. "

"The room was clean and decorated very nicely. The shower was beautiful. The place is old though - so it still had that “old” place feeling. I would say my disappoint came from the size of the room. It was just soooooo small. There wasn’t anyplace to put all our stuff. I used the kitchen area for my bathroom stuff and my suitcase. My husband used the dresser drawers. There is a chair but we had to use it for the pillows and other clothes etc. If you go into it knowing it’s small and aren’t...

"I have been staying at Cottage # 1, for over 20 years! My all time favorite place to stay while in the Ludington area. The host/manager of cottage is wonderful. Within easy walking distance to Stearns Park Beach and North Pier Lighthouse and close drive into shops, restaurants, bookstores, and the Ludington State Park, where you will find another beach, beachhouses, and the Hamlin Dam, Hamlin Lake, Lost Lake, etc... Miles of Lake Michigan Beach. "
