The view was spectacular, offering a perfect sight of the sea and the harbour inlet. The spa was top-notch, I highly recommend this option! I was delighted with the vegan menu, as it meant I didn't have to search for dining options elsewhere. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel."

When we arrived it was literally 5 mis before they stopped serving food BUT the chap said I'll go and ask the chef .,. He did and we enjoyed a very hearty excellent steak and ale pie each. "We had the most amazing stay at gara rock . The place is beautiful and set in amazing beachside settings with breathtaking views. Everything is exceptional, the hotel, the setting, the food and the staff. They really made the stay fantastic as they went above and beyond to accommodate you and make sure you have the best stay. "Beautiful pub opposite a babbling brook. So pretty. Made welcome from the start. Lovely double room with all you need. Great breakfast that sets you up for the day and ate there each of our four evenings. Food very good. Would highly recommend so long as you are happy to drive down very narrow country lanes and reversing back every so often as they are one vehicle roads. Part of being in the country as is being woken by the bleating sheep, quaking ducks and flying geese. Loved it. "

While the walk into Dartmouth was more than just a gentle stroll, it was a great way to work up an appetite for the town’s restaurants and cafes. We found enough to keep us occupied in Dartmouth and only felt the need to use our car on a rainy day."

"Super warm and comfortable, tasteful apartment on the first floor. Well equiped and in a peaceful location a 10 minute walk to the harbour. Walks for our dog on the doorstep. We did hear the sound of stomping footsteps from the flat above for a couple of nights, but otherwise very quiet. Building has a long history and has plenty of character. We were very sad to leave. "
