"Don’t miss on this one!! The other reviews were right on the “mark”!! This place is extremely special and the view in the evening over the bay was magical. It literally felt like a painting. They have the place well decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable. Not to mention the Swedish spa next door!! We loved everything about this place and would stay again in a heartbeat."

"This cute little house was just the right size for my husband and me. The neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. However, the drawback of that is that it is at least a 30 minute drive to get to anywhere. Bar Harbor is an hour's drive (and we were not in peak season - it is probably longer if we had been). There were a few things to do closer, but you still had to drive as there are no shoulders on the road and consequently walking felt treacherous. This is not a criticism of the property - if...

"My family and I were looking for a true down east Maine getaway without dealing with tourist traps and large crowds. This was such a wonderful way to do it. The property is as described. The views and sunsets are picturesque. Sandy and Charlie are incredible people who made our stay perfect. The town is geographically located near numerous outdoor excursions and hikes. I would not hesitate to recommend this house to others or hopefully go back ourselves. We didn’t want our trip to end! Thanks...

"Location, cleanliness, amenities were all a 10, but the downstairs bed was hard as a rock, and the others were so so. Comfortable beds are a must, Invest in some better bedding and this place would be a perfect 10. I would also suggest a queen sized bed for the downstairs bedroom. Otherwise we had a great vacation visiting Acadia and the surrounding area."

"Myself and my family stayed at this property for a week. Had a few bumps when we first got there but the property manager was absolutely amazing. Responded immediately and got everything straightened out. The property is beautiful whether you are outside or looking out from inside. Was further than I thought from Acadia but we managed. No issues with the hot water and there were 6 of us. We had fun filled days and very peaceful relaxing evenings. Wonderful rental."

Minor issues-could not get combination lock to work; call to managers gave us combo to key box-all good. "This house was just spectacular. We were looking for something that was quiet , on the water, and this house didn't disappoint. Close enough to so many activities but far enough from the crowds of Bar Harbor. The house was very very clean and had everything we were looking for. Chad was extremely accommodating in any questions we had and was a pleasure to work with. No issues at all staying here. Highly recommended !! Thank you Chad !"

"Extremely clean cottage located near a few serene parks and a 40 min drive into the heart of Bar Harbor. Beds were a bit soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference. Few suggestions on things we missed: a vacuum or hand vacuum (with the hikes & and surrounding area shoes get dirty quickly) some spices and olive oil for cooking. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."

"Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place. "Good location. Two nice size bedrooms. Good Decor. Very clean for being Dog friendly. Simple layout easy to keep clean. If your planning a Bar Harbor/ Acadia National Park trip, plan on doing a day of Winter Harbor/ Schoodic Point / Prospect Harbor they all have great sites, were less busy, and are much closer to the house"
