"The check in and check out was seamless. The room was clean. The swimming pool could have been cleaner. Saw old plaster and various debris in the water which dampened the experience a bit. The rest of amenities were great."

"Great hotel! Amazing views and place to relax. Close to walking trails to explore the forest and surrounding towns. Highly recommended! "

"Ideal location to visit daughter at uni and have her leave halls for a night and spend time with us and her little brother. Chose the hotel for the grounds and that it looked peaceful. Although as it happens halls might have been more sedate!
Stayed on a Saturday night. Event on site. Loud music, raging arguments in corridors / bedrooms adjacent to the 3 rooms we booked. Loud s”x, underpants in the car park the next morning and other detritus, glasses of beer etc

"Overall the stay went well, although the room did not meet expectations after seeing pictures, with it feeling worn and in need of refurbishment, and the car park full of pot holes. You could also hear guests in other rooms, especially as they flushed toilets, used the shower, and made noise.
Staff were friendly and inviting and beds comfortable. I would mark it more within 3.5 stars than the advertised 4 star. "

"The room was perfect, lovely bathroom as well, however the hotel experienced a power outage overnight & therefore there was no hot water, lighting, no hot food for breakfast - and for whatever reason the toilets wouldn’t flush, which nobody seemed to realise. We had to pack the relative darkness looking for our belongings from the lights from our phones, and finding a way down the corridors in a huge sprawling hotel in the dark was quite tricky. I realise this is not exactly the hotels fault but...
