"First impressions count and we all thought the house was charming. It is quirky but that is part of the appeal. It is centrally located and easy to walk to all shops and restaurants. It was also very close to the parade on Memorial Day which was nice. The back garden is large and peaceful if the weather is nice enough to sit outside. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The stairs are quite steep to the first floor so it might be something to consider for those with mobility issues. There...

"This is a great property right in the heart of Gettysburg. Perfect for a long weekend. Very convenient to the battlefield and within walking distance of downtown. While it's an older home, it is very well maintained and nicely furnished. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening after walking back form dinner. Would definitely recommend."

"The house was excellent - just as described. It was spacious, comfortable and gave us the historic feel we were looking for in the heart of Gettysburg. Location was ideal allowing easy walks to the Gettysburg circle, the battlefield and many options for dining / shopping. "We loved being all together and the house allowed for us to do that. Check in was easy. Location was great-nice off the main road but close to towns. Historic home so we expect the tiny door into the small room. We expect the themed rooms to compliment the hunter theme. Huge turkey was a turn off above the bed. We did not appreciate the dust all around, old beds, and stains on bedding. Kitchen pots and pans need updating. We ordered out food for most of our meals. Never heard back from with host...

"This house was perfect for our family. The setup was exactly what we needed for graduation weekend. Convenient to everything in Gettysburg, easy parking, tons of fun games, and a huge backyard which we didn’t use but nice big you had younger kids. The owners were so nice and accommodation when my son left an expensive item behind. Would def recommend!"
