"My stay at Tru by Hilton was unfortunately disappointing overall. The biggest issue was cleanliness. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned thoroughly before my arrival — there was hair throughout the shower and corners, grime buildup, cobwebs, marks on the bathroom walls, and the toilet itself appeared visibly dirty and unsanitary. I ended up having to clean parts of the bathroom myself, which was very off-putting. The room itself was not terrible, and the hotel has a modern look, but the lack...

"Check in was easy and the staff were very nice and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. However, the air conditioner was much louder than normal and the bed had a terrible creaking sound when getting on or off the bed. This made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of space in the dining area. The area around the hotel is not the greatest as there is quite a bit of construction happening. Nearby are some good eateries as well as a river walk along...

"This is a very low budget hotel. Staff was not friendly or helpful. The pool area was a smoking section. I found hairs stuck in my washcloth and towels. I can’t speak to the free breakfast because it wasn’t open when I left at 5:30AM. They have parking right outside of the first floor rooms. Literally directly beside the windows. It’s very irritating when people are coming and going through the night. I suppose the highlight was that at least I didn’t see any bedbugs."
