"It was a reasonable drive to the Bristol Motor Speedway. Lake Watauga is a short drive that I wish I had spent more time visiting. There are no TVs in the bedrooms but we didn't mind since it was only one night. I would definitely stay again."

"This is a great mountain cottage located in a good location to explore eastern Tennessee. The house was easy to find, very nice inside and out. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials that one may need for cooking. The host is very quick with responses and aims to please and make sure your stay is seamless. "

"This was the perfect location. Close to restaurants, shopping and the covered bridge. The room was big and comfortable and it felt more like an apartment rather than a "hotel" room. Check-in was so easy as was the access to our room and parking. We will absolutely be back again in the spring to visit our daughter at Milligan University."

"Loved this little gem. You feel like you're far away from everything, but only minutes from town. The host was very friendly. We were able to see geese, peacocks with babies, and the buffalo. Such a neat little place and packed with local history."

"Loved The Gracie Suite!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Downtown Post in The Gracie Suite! From the moment we arrived, it felt comfortable, welcoming, and peaceful. The suite was beautifully done, very clean, and had so much charm and character.
It was one of those places where you immediately feel at home. Everything was thoughtfully put together, and we really appreciated the little details that made our stay extra enjoyable.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will...

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The property was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location close to the city, which made it easy to get around. There are a few things future guests should be aware of. The biggest downside was the noise. At night, there was a significant amount of traffic noise, including what sounded like cars racing, and the nearby train could also be be heard. If you’re a light sleeper, this may be an issue.Parking also wasn’t ideal. We recommend making sure your...
