Best Vacation Ever

We had an amazing time at this property. Best decision made in a long time. The host and team were excellent. Everything we needed was there. We will be back and I highly recommend staying here.

10 min walk to a beautiful beach, everything needed for a stay away was provided, nice yard to hang out and play games out and indoors. Made it so we could just enjoy the weekend without worrying about little things

So great that we're looking forward to next time!

This space was clean, welcoming and comfortable. It was a quiet neighborhood with local shops & restaurants nearby. Very accommodating for a family of 10+ for game night w/o crowding. Our family is already talking about next year (or sooner) and would love to stay in the same house or another in the same group.

Thrilled to find this gem in Buckroe!

Working with Lynn is a breeze. She was extremely professional, helpful, and patient. There's more than meets the eye in this beautifully decorated and cared for home. As noted by others, not only does it feel like a home away from home, but there's the bonus of a lovely, calm beach just a short 10-minute walk away. (So easy my 5-yro grand-daughter insisted we walk each time vs driving.) Plenty of space for our family to spread out (adult son/wife and kids) as well as our college-aged daughter. The loft made for a fantastic 2nd family room &/or bedroom. The one rainy day we experienced was just as much fun as the others, spent watching movies, playing board games, Foosball, eating popcorn and just relaxing with family. Hampton / Buckroe is located nearly mid-way between Williamsburg (Busch Gardens, Water Country, & Outlets) and Virginia Beach (Boardwalk, beach, restaurants & more shopping). There's plenty to do within a quick 20-30 minute drive, if you're looking for more than just a relaxing beach vacation. Only regret is that we weren't able to make it to Mango Mangeaux (French Creole Restaurant) with a waiting list a week-long to get in. Maybe next time!

Awesome!

This is a very nice and clean home with a great layout. The kitchen was well outfitted with anything you need. We were very comfortable. Beds were great! The host was very responsive and check in and out was seamless. I highly recommend it!

Exactly as pictured and described.

Didn’t spend much time at the house but it was perfect location to my friends that do love in town and in a great area not far from the airport. The house was clean and updated and perfect to do some remote work from during the day. It was only myself and another friend, but this would be my next stay with more friends as well.

I was very impressed with the whole process. The communication with property management was personable and clear.Beautiful decor. Clean all around. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Nice to have the music set up thru Google. A few suggestions to add: 1) Need a full size ironing board. 2) Need a dresser in the master bedroom. A++++ stay. Looked to come to the property again soon. Definitely recommended it to others. Great overall experience for everyone.

Relaxing stay

This property is by far the best we have stayed at. Reasons are: 1. Cleanliness. No pets are allowed which gives peace of mind as we have children with pet allergies. No carpets so you know the floor is squeaky clean. Carpets tend to hide dirt. 2. Quick response from owner! LOVE the open communication and guidance! 3. Comfortable beds and pillows! 4. Everything was provided! This was a surprise as I had brought my own toiletries and dish soap and sponge, and paper towels. It's very thoughtful that this owner supplied these as many rental properties do not. 5. Close to beach! We love that it is a 5 min walk. No crowds and water is nice! Will def come back and stay!

Beautiful property, great visit

We stayed at this location in July 2021. The property pics are accurate. The house is newer, has all new appliances plus everything you'll need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. The location's great, near Buckroe Beach and within driving distance of other beaches, too. My communication with the owners was outstanding. Thanks for a great visit!

Mini Vacay

Don't think twice if you are on the fence about selecting this location for your vacation. You will not be disappointed. We took a mini vacation with our 2 grand kids and my brother-in-law and his family which included 2 children as well. We all had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The property owner, Lynn, really put some thought into what families need on vacay and we had everything even games for the children to play outside. The layout of the home is gorgeous and functional for all guest from adults to children. The beach was close by and not very crowded and we even took the children back in the evenings to play on the beach playground and get ice cream. Lynn and her team were great and very responsive. Everyone had a great time and the plan is to return again next year for perhaps a longer stay. You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at this property!

Property worked out great Space and amenities for my whole family fare is perfect the only Recommendation I would have outside as we would’ve loved to have beach equipment due to the fact that we were no longer able to get at the beach.

Our Favorite Place in Buckroe Beach

This property fit our needs perfectly. Located just a short walk (or drive) from the family-oriented Buckroe Beach and town park, the home was modern, spacious, clean and well appointed. It had parking space for 3 cars, which we needed as our adult children drove separately to meet us there. The home also provided a convenient location for exploring the entire Newport/Hampton/Virginia Beach region. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider it for future visits to that area. I should also add that we appreciated the excellent communications we had with our hosts as we prepared for this trip. They were welcoming, informative and helpful. So we thank them for sharing their favorite place with us.

Buckroe Getaway

From the initial booking to the last day the management was responsive. The house is everything the listing states. Honestly the photos are deceiving regarding the spaciousness. There is space galore. We were very comfortable and not sitting on top of one another. The amenities were top notched. I would definitely bring my family back. Buckroe Beach was just around the corner. A short walk from the house. I’d suggest some beach chairs for guest to use while there.
