Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Brand new cozy cottage with Air conditioning, Level Entry into cottage, no stairs. 1 car parking directly behind house. Additional parking is available on property.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Sundeck. Beach access is across the street. Centrally located to explore the Sunshine Coast's natural beauty. Perfect getaway for 4 friend's and/or family.

The space
Located in Redrooffs area of Halfmoon Bay. This 1 acre property has been in our family since 1947.

Beach access is across the street, short 3-minute walk.

Within walking distance to Coopers Green and Welcome Beach for paddle boarding or kayaking.

This brand new cozy cottage has Air conditioning, 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Blinds on all windows.

Blackout panels for bedroom windows (in closets)

Keyless entry, code provided just for your stay.

Level Entry into 1 level cottage, no stairs.
Parking directly behind house for 1 vehicle.

Peaceful getaway for 2 to 4 friends and/or family.

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the Sundeck with Adirondack chairs and patio dining set. The spectacular night sky is perfect for watching meteor showers, the Milky Way or Aurora Borealis (It gets very dark here).

Open concept living, dining and kitchen area, with ceiling fan and vaulted ceiling. Spacious Island with 3 bar stools. Quirky circle window adds charm to room. All the paintings in cottage are by Owners Mother, a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and Burnaby Artists Guild.

Kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans. LG Appliances – Dishwasher, Electric Stove and Oven, Fridge has water and ice. Keurig Pod and Carafe Coffee Maker, Coffee Grinder, Kettle, Microwave, Electric Grill, Griddle, Hand Mixer, Blender, Toaster and cookbooks for creating memorable meals together.

Selection of Tea, Coffee and Spices provided.
Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner, Bar Soap provided.

There is a great selection of boardgames, cards and books to enjoy in evenings. There are paints available for painting of rocks, shells and driftwood collected while on walks on beach.

LG Smart TV’s with LG Channels in Living room and both bedrooms. Wifi Available for using Apps.

Living room has Electric fireplace for those chilly evenings or just for atmosphere. Desk is available in one of the bedrooms, if having to remote work while away.

One bedroom has Queen size bed with ensuite and King size bed in other bedroom (Bloom Mattresses).
Lamps in bedrooms has USB ports for charging of your phones and devices. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms.

Full Sized Washer and Dryer in cottage with Detergent and Dryer sheets supplied. First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguisher on site.

There are Beach towels, Blankets, Picnic Basket and small cooler available for trips to beach or day trips to local lakes.

Centrally located to explore surrounding natural attractions, such as Smuggler Cove, Trout Lake, Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, to name a few. Hiking and biking trails are in abundance in area.

Historic Halfmoon Bay General Store is a 4-minute drive away, for groceries, snack, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.

Sechelt is a short 20-minute drive away. Saturday weekend markets in Summer and various specialty shops to enjoy exploring in downtown area. Enjoy the waterfront path that takes you through beautiful Snickett Park, the scenery is just amazing.

Public Transportation is available (bus stop is 3 houses over). Bus goes into downtown Sechelt and from there, connect Bus to Langdale Ferry Terminal.

Dogs are allowed (Maximum 2). For their safety, they should be leashed when on property as abundance of wild life in area (deer, elk, bear, coyotes, cougar, bobcats). Dog bowls provided, toys too!

*Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the cottage.

*Hosts live on property at back. We have 2 dogs ourselves.

Janice and Bill were great hosts. They were very responsive and attentive to the little details, including a lovely welcome basket that included a bunch of snacks that our kids loved. The place was great, equipped with most of what you would need in the kitchen and living room. The location on Redrooffs Road is ideal if you're on the Sunshine Coast and the property is nice and private. The A/C is a nice, added bonus!

Hi N Dri, was the perfect home base for our short visit to the coast with our dog! The location was perfect for exploring beaches and hikes in the area.The guest house was clean and welcoming with ample space and beautiful surroundings. Just what we needed!

Hi N Dry is a great place! Brand new, peaceful, and has everything you need for a get away. The owners are quick to respond to messages and eager to provide anything needed to enhance your stay. We loved coming home after a day exploring and listening to the resident Swainson's Thrush singing, he never seemed to stop! And the Hummers battling for the feeder on the deck. We hope to stay again sometime. We found several dog friendly eateries in the area, the Trattoria at Ruby Lake Resort was a highlight. You can find some others at BringFido.com

Beautiful hideaway by the ocean

Very impressed, both with the property and the hosts. We required a property that could accomidate two large dogs. This is rare to find, so I was relieved that this wasn't an issue. The hosts even had extra provisions on site for the dogs, to make sure they were comfortable. It's obvious the hosts are very detailed oriented, as the home had everything we needed, not to mention it was very clean! The hosts were easy to communicate with and we felt very 'at home.' I would definitely stay again and also recommend this property to anyone seeking a beauitful getaway, near the ocean and the old growth forest!

Perfect little get away in an enchanting spot. Away from hastle and bustle, quiet with dark nights. The house is cozy and posh at the same time: the pictures don't do it justice. It still smells new and everything is spotless. We enjoyed our late nights watching our shows in the light of the fireplace and candles that were provided as well. The beach across the street was more than i expected. I just can't say enough good things about this accomodation, we even had doggie toys and treats and we also got a basket of goodies for us humans too.Just wow! Was hard to leave..

Wonderful short break in Halfmoon Bay

Our 3 night stay was everything we were looking for .. a scrupulously clean, bright and warm home with very responsive and welcoming hosts. The goodies on arrival were very appreciated, as were the treats, toys and bowls for the dog! The house is just across from a beach and close to Sechelt and some lovely walks. We hadn’t been to this area of the Sunshine Coast before and we will be back!

Best relaxing weekend!

This is just the cutest rental! Everything is brand new and clean everything you need and more! We loved the modern appliances(fresh ice in the freezer)The owners live on site but it is completely separate and super private. Very peaceful and serene we booked for two reasons to have a quiet relaxing weekend and somewhere we can bring our dogs with us.The owners also have dogs so thought of everything we would need even with our dogs….very pet friendly!We met the owners as they were out walking their dogs…so nice and easy to contact for anything you need but don’t interfere.This place does not disappoint! The beach is directly across the street and the deck is the perfect place to watch stars at night. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
