Surrounded by rolling hills and stunning landscapes, this quaint village is a true hidden gem, offering visitors a taste of rural English life. The area boasts a rich history and is home to several picturesque country pubs and traditional tea rooms, perfect for sampling some of the local cuisine. The nearby historic towns of Battle (9 miles) and Hastings (14 miles) offer visitors the chance to explore some of the region's fascinating history, while the picturesque beaches of Eastbourne are just a short drive away (9miles). Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life or seeking to explore the natural beauty of the region, this is the perfect base from which to explore to local area.
Step in through the front door of this newly built property and head on through to the delightful open plan lounge kitchen diner which enjoys the most spectacular panoramic countryside views. With a large corner sofa with reclining seats, and a further two-seater sofa and armchair this is a tranquil space in which to unwind in front of the roaring wood burner fireplace on a chilly evening. Beyond, the spacious and inviting kitchen/dining room has high ceilings and exposed beams. The well-equipped kitchen is a haven for keen foodies and is a sociable space to cook before gathering the family together around the dining table that seats eight comfortably. After dinner, browse the collection of board games which are available and gather everyone together for an evening of fun, before heading off to one of the four comfortable bedrooms. The property offers four super-king bedrooms, two of which are zip n link beds that can be made into twins on request, all the bedrooms have patio doors to the outside and Smart TV’s. The master bedroom also has an en-suite shower room and a dressing room. The property is completed with a family bathroom and a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble drier.
Heading outside to the enclosed garden there are multiple seating areas to enjoy the stunning views whether you wish to enjoy the glorious sunshine or seek some shade to curl up with a good book. The main patio area has ample seating for everyone and a charcoal BBQ, there is also a warm water shower for the dogs. Hot tub available for an additional charge of £350 per week (pro rata for short breaks) payable direct to the owner
