On Golden Pond at Little Lagoon. The best of both worlds. Easy Gulf Access.

The Perch on Little Lagoon is a peaceful duplex home located in the On Golden Pond community, directly on Little Lagoon. Enjoy stunning water views from two private balconies and a warm, airy beach house atmosphere, all just two blocks from the Gulf with public beach access. The home includes access to a shared pool and fishing dock with 11 total units. Boat slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis for small boats or jet skis.

This home sleeps 8 guests and offers a comfortable layout. The main floor has one bedroom with a king-sized bed and a shared bathroom. The upper floor features a loft/open space with twin beds and a hall bathroom; a second bedroom with a queen bed and a private en suite; and a spacious primary suite with a king bed, a private balcony with lagoon views, and an en suite bathroom. A washer and dryer are located on the upper floor.

The open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area overlooks the lagoon and is fully equipped with essentials for cooking during your stay. Parking includes a covered carport for two vehicles, plus one space next to the carport and one behind it, for a total of four parking spaces. Small boat or jet ski trailers may be stored under the carport if they fit. RVs, travel trailers, and large boat trailers are not allowed on the property.

Nearby attractions include the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, the Gulf Shores Zoo, Fort Morgan, Fort Gaines, OWA amusement park, The Wharf, Waterville USA, Tanger Outlets, and endless opportunities for boating, fishing, and water sports.

Rentals are Sunday to Sunday during the summer months and require a three-night minimum the rest of the year. No pets are allowed. The primary renter must be at least 25 years old. For your safety, an outdoor security camera is located under the carport.

Highly recommend

Wonderful place! Right on the sound with a dock to fish. Pool right in the back door. You can monitor the “big kids” at both places from the deck. A bit of a walk to the beach, but worth it! Owners fill the spice pantry, which was a plus. Good communication with owners as well. Highly recommend Perk and Pop’s Perch!

Great stay on golden pond

My family of 5 and our friends family of 4 stayed on golden pond for our fall break. There was more than enough space to accommodate us all. The beach gear was ample. Kitchen was stocked so well! Spices galore and that was a big plus for us as we cooked most meals in. Everything was clean and well kept. Would absolutely be back if the occasion arises.

Wonderful stay!!

This house was so cute and the location was awesome. The owners were great with communication and were quick to help with the washing machine when I had an issue. The house was clean and well stocked. The pool location was great and the dock and lagoon were a great addition. The walk to the beach was very easy to do daily and there was plenty of beach supplies in the downstairs shower. My family loved it and cannot wait to return.

Beach and Softball

Great property. Everyone had plenty of room and bathroom space. Pool is very close. But a bit crowded for the size of the pool. The kitchen had everything we needed. 30 minute drive to Foley Softball fields. Great stay overall. Highly recommend.

Family vacation

We've stayed here twice now. Owner responds immediately with issues. Beach stuff is there too is, even a wagon. I would suggest going to The Hangout and using Bay Side Boat Rental. The only issue was the weather; it messed up our boat ride, but the owner was great to work with. It's always nice to work with people with integrity, and that's what you get with this owner.

Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 4 kids. The best part was being directly in front of the pool and having the lagoon views. The pool did get a bit crowded at times, but wasn’t terrible. The pool does need some love- the bottom is very rough and over the course of our week stay was never vacuumed. Sand covered the bottom of one end. This was at no fault of the unit owner though, as it is a shared community pool. We had some issues with the unit’s lock, but the owner was very prompt and helpful. We were very happy with our stay, and would definitely rent this unit again!

Loved the lagoon

We loved our stay here. We had the best of both worlds with the lagoon and dock at the house, and the beach a short walk across the street. We were able to fish, kayak and paddle board in the lagoon. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home, wonderful stay!

The pictures didn’t do it justice. The house was so beautiful. The beds were comfortable. There were TVs, DVD players in all the rooms. The kids loved using the pool. Quick access to the beach. We absolutely loved the home and loved our time in Gulf Shores. Would highly recommend this house!

Superbly Perfect Get Away

Not one thing would I change about this property! The location is stunningly beautiful with the gulf, pier, and swimming pool directly in front of us. The couple block walk to the sandy gulf shore was quick and easy so that going many times a day is so easy! The kitchen was amazingly stocked with essentials like tea, coffee, spices, utensils, cookware, and place settings. I packed many kitchen items that I would not have needed to bring. The beds were super comfortable and the sheets and towels were (I am guessing) professionally cleaned. Everything was very clean and well thought through. Interestingly, we did not use the multiple television systems because we spent time rather enjoying the accommodations, family time, and surrounding area, but we did enjoy one movie night at the house. There are boogie boards, mats for the beach, and sand toys to make enjoying the beach possible without making those investments. Seriously, not one thing would I change about this property, and all six of us (ages ranging from 60 - 14) agree!

Family Fun!

The property was perfect for our family vacation! We loved sitting on the deck and the pier and looking out at the lagoon. Enjoyed the pool and had the pool to ourselves a bit each day. The beach was close enough to walk with wagons for all the beach gear. We had a great time!

Love the Lagoon

Our family had a wonderful stay at 8B. Public parking near the beach made transporting all of our paraphernalia to the beach not such a hassle. The very young grandkids enjoyed the lagoon beach area. The house size was just right with 3 bedrooms and 4 baths. Ronald was a very attentive host.

First of many!

Took my fiancée and four kids to this property for a full week and couldn’t have been happier. The house was full of amenities and one of the best views on the gulf. Having come to the beach for years, this ranks at the top without question. Thanks to Ronald and his family for their generosity!

Perfect Fit for Everyone

We had such an amazing time at this property. My husband, our three year old boy and girl twins, my niece (who turned 8 while we were there), my 10 year old nephew, my sister and her husband and my parents all loved it. It had been five years since we had a beach vacation together. The last one was canceled because of C0vid. The timing of this vacation ended up being perfect because we got to also celebrate the adoption of our twins out of foster care that had been with is for 1195 days prior. We had so much fun on the beach, in the pool, and on on the pier in the lagoon. My nephew caught three crabs in his crab net. He was SO excited. He came running down the pier with a huge smile on his face. It was priceless. Walk to the beach was easy. We were excited to find the boogie boards and sand toys we were able to use. We got to watch some really awesome lightning shows from the pier (from a distance of course) 😉. The house was very nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again!!!

Lagoon-Beach-Reapeat

Perfect place for our family (ages 8-11). We could come and go from the beach with ease- and have a view of the kids playing on the pool or lagoon from the balcony. Nice walk to lagoon peir - 10-20 minute car ride to groceries/Walmart/etc. wig we are able to come again- this is where we will want to stay.

Great place to stay by the dock.

The location for this property was great. We had great access to a fishing dock and a beach in the lagoon. Our boys fished for hours and had a great time. It’s also a few blocks from the beach so we were able to spend time there. The e house itself is great and it’s so handy that it’s actually stocked with easy to forget products!
