SUNDIAL-E3, BEACHFRONT COMPLEX, 3/2. POOL. PUT YOUR TOES IN THE SAND AND RELAX!

Sundial is a small, three-story beachfront property (24 units total) with covered parking, elevator, and a beachfront pool. It is sitting in the sand on West Beach, in a low density area of Gulf Shores. There is a very large private balcony which can be accessed from the living area and the master bedroom.

Our condo has been freshly painted throughout, well maintained and totally equipped. It is a spacious (1200 sq. ft) three bedroom, two bath unit that comfortably sleeps eight people. King bedding is in the master BR, queen bedding is in the 2nd BR, two twins in the 3rd bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa is in the living area.

All you need to bring with you for a fabulous beach vacation is your swim suit and beach towel! There is a restaurant, ice cream shop and a beach market just across the street.

We do not rent to single adults under the age of 27. Parking is limited with 1 assigned spot per unit. 2 cars max and then, only on a space available basis.

Needed VACATION

It was an amazing week spent here! Myself, daughter, daughter in law and 3 grandchildren, ages 2-15, 8. We love the view, the beach, both pools! Our place was very accommodating for us! We cooked, kept our laundry up, sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. We are gonna keep this place on our favorite list for future visits

The property was exactly as advertised without any surprises. Mary was a gracious host who was prompt and thoughtful in her responses. The beach is right out the door, and close to shopping and food.

Pros - The kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat in the unit as well as a dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer. The beds aren't bad and its roomy. Cons - the property is very old and needs updating. The furniture is old and musty. It was not very clean. The upstairs has a window unit that does not work very well.

We loved our stay!

This was our first time in Gulf Shores, and the description is perfectly worded. The two twin beds are in a loft, but the entire place has tons of space. We’re a family of 5 and never once felt crowded. The kitchen is fully stocked, the entire place was clean, and the elevator worked perfectly. Mary is very nice and provided all information well in advance. We would absolutely stay here again!

Perfect property for families

Our favorite property, we are long time guests here! Our unit was clean and had everything we needed. Hostess was so helpful and prompt to reply to questions. My only issue was listed check in time differed from what came in the agreement, however the hostess was quick to respond and assist.

Beaching

Overall it was a nice place to rest out bodies after being out and about all day. Its steps away from the beach, which was absolutely amazing! The king bed is super firm(like a rock) and queen/full bed was alright but it is right next to a window that leads to the hall. There were a couple of sleepless nights with the commotion of people in the echoing hallway. Pull out couch had no sheets available. Owner did tell us we could reach out to the housekeeper with any issues, but we didn't want to bother or make time. Minor. The rentals I have stayed at and being that we booked for a week, I would have expected to have more than two rolls of TP. Minor complaint. In addition the mention of a grill has usually been on the patio. We didnt actually find the grills somewhat hidden at the front corner or the building. Being on the third floor-opposite end of the building, we had no interest in using them. We were sent a key to the door which was a kind of a nuisance, when for a mear $100 an electronic lock could be installed and a code provided. Maybe there's a valid reason for not doing this, but I would recommend it. The fire alarm battery started to go dead our last night there....you know when it chirps every minute. Overall, it was well worth the cost. Its a nice place. I dont mean to sound like a complainer, but more of a heads up for any folks that do come across my review. Just not quite what we expected. Could be just our expectations. Owner is very responsive and kind ❤️

Steps from the Beach

The location was great. You are steps from the beach which was perfect for our kids. Housekeeping had not been there when we arrived, & it late so housekeeping came the next morning. Mary was very responsive & helpful. The condo is as advertised.

Older property. In good condition. Everything worked. 3rd bedroom was actually a loft, but it worked well for us. Property was in good shape. I would recommend staying here.

Great location! We understand wear and tear on a condo, but there was no reason for condo to be so dirty. We had to call and give a list of things that were dirty , stained or broken just so we would not be charged. We went to eat after checking in and a cleaning person was supposed to come, they left old cheese in floor and a dirty toilet with someone else’s mess on it. Our family jumped in and cleaned, we went to turn in to bed and there were no sheets on the bed or extra sheets to use, we had to wait on a gentleman to deliver, he was very nice and apologetic. The location for us was fantastic, but first impressions ruin things.

Great place

The condo was exactly as described. It had a good view. The condo had plenty of room. The beach was beautiful. The covered parking garage was a plus keeping the vehicle cooler. The pool was kinda small but we spent most of the time on the beach. I would highly recommend staying at this rental.
