Il Nido in Chianti

Cozy apartment in the historic center on the second floor overlooking the beautiful square of Greve in Chianti.
Beautifully renovated, it has a large double bedroom and armchair bed, living room with a double sofa bed, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a laundry room also equipped with a shower.
You will find air conditioning and heating, wi-fi, 2 TVs, washer-dryers, dishwasher and hairdryer.

On its communal terrace you can spend wonderful moments of relaxation.

Greve authentic artistic jewel, historical and with delicious tastes, it is an oasis of tranquility that knows how to attract tourists as well as for the beauty of the places, starting from its particular Piazza Matteotti in the shape of cod, also for a series of relief.
The most important is the Wine Festival held every year in September.
You will have your seat in the front row thanks to the direct view of the Piazza.

Your holiday in Greve in Chianti, the capital of the production area of the famous Chianti Classico Gallo Nero wine, will allow you to visit a land full of history, charming villages and rolling hills between Florence and Siena.

We have stayed in many places throughout Tuscany, but none that compare with this. Everything was perfect! The location, the apartment, the balcony, the host and the property manager. The property manager lives nearby and was available 24/7 to handle all of our needs. We can’t say enough! Excellent

Great little gem, we were glad to be staying in the square and to have aircon was a godsend when its hot outside. Modern sleek decor. Apartment has all mod cons and everything you could need. The balcony overlooking the square is lovely and you can people watch all day whilst sipping a cold drink. Only gripe would be sofa(bed) is not very comfortable and the bed in bedroom is slightly low so getting up a bit difficult. But overall a fantastic stay.

Beautiful Greve Apartment

We booked a week stay in this beautiful apartment. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. All the accommodation were provided. Carlotta was kind enough to send a message to see how we were doing every few days. Which we appreciateed. The apartment had a nice view plaza and the patio was nice to sit and enjoy the scenery. Greve was a nice little town and the locals were kind and helpful. We highly recommend this beautiful apartment. Grazie Mille

Perfect location to explore the region!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter weekend in Greve. It is a charming and friendly community located such that exploration of the area wineries and villages is an easy. The apartment is very well appointed, decorated tastefully and very comfortable. There are stairs to climb but for that you also get a patio! The hostess was very helpful as well. Great place to stay.

Parfaite base au coeur de la Tascanie

Il Nidi in Chianti est charmant est confortable apartement magnifiquement situé sur la Piazza principale de cete cette petite ville très sympathique, où on retrouve de nombreux restaurants de grandes qualités et tous les services. Endroit parfait pour explorer la région. L’apartement est très grand, très bien aménagé ( avec goût et avec tout le nécessaire). Carlotta est toujours disponible pour faciliter les choses ( du stationnement gratuit aux bonnes suggestions de restaurants). On s’est senti chez nous immédiatement.

Wonderful time in Il Nido

This place was amazing! Beautiful apartment! Beautifully decorated. Loved the little terrace overlooking the picturesque piazza. Greve is a very charming town. You can't park in piazza. We found free parking up hill behind Il Nido. Two flights of narrow stairs but well worth it. The best place we have stayed in on our trip to beautiful Tuscany!

Hidden gem

Super pleasant stay next to the central square. Bakery, grocery's and good restaurants reachable by feet. Hosts are super friendly and courteous. Nice to have a modern apartment in tuscany. They are hard tonfind. Hidden gem in Greve.

Perfect location

As advertised, spotless and tastily decorated with what we needed for another stay in our adopted home in Greve Italy. Great location for sightseeing and walking to a litany of top notch restaurants. Coop supermarket close by and parking just a short walk from apartment. We look forward to a return visit.

A little life in Chianti

Our stay was a delight. The apartment is in a great location for easy access to restaurants, shops, car parking and facilities. We used it as a base to tour around Chianti. Cara, the owner, is very responsive and friendly. Carlotta welcomed us to Greve and was a great source of local information.

Great location right in main Square

We were very comfortable in this apartment and its exactly as shown in photos. There is allot of steep stairs so that is a problem with small children or older ppl or anyone with any mobility issue. There is a great wine store in the square and the most amazing pastry/coffee shop called Pasticceria Chianti. Great restaurants one that really shines is Gallinaro. We ate there twice.

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Italy over the last 16 years. The apartment was spotless and the service was second to none. Everything we could have asked for was already there. The town was very safe and also very clean all around. Nothing was open late night like a larger city but we had no issues and loved everything about it.

Fantastic location and a wonderful apartment

Everything about this rental was terrific. Cora (who is not local) is an extremely responsive host who checks in often to make sure everything is okay. Her assistant Carmella takes care of any issues you may have and handles check-in and check-out. She was a tremendous help with carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. Yes, there are 2 full flights of stairs, but you get used to them and they help burn off all the wine and pasta! The apartment is extremely comfortable with large, recently furnished rooms, and a very spacious bathroom. The extra bathroom has the washer/dryer and a shower (an extra toilet would probably be more useful). There are thoughtful additions like plenty of tables to put your belongings on when you unpack and two large wardrobes for all your clothes if you're staying a while, as we did. Extra blankets came in handy when the nights got cold. Greve has so many good restaurants, it's hard to choose...and from this apartment they are all just a few minutes away! We loved our stay at Il Nido and hope to return someday!
