The owners were super helpful in terms of their communication ahead of our booking, as well as in answering all of our questions in the build up. The cooked breakfast in the morning was amazing and we really appreciated their friendliness and their suggestions for things to do in the nearby area. "The Mayflower is a lovely pub The staff where very friendly & helpful. Few issues, the plug was missing for the sink in the en-suite. The plug hole itself wasn't clean, needs a serious clean There's no shelf in the shower to put anything on. For the tea /coffee facilities there was no spoon. The single standing lamp, the blub was missing. But other than that, nice spacious room, comfy bed. "

"We only used the room as a base overnight whilst visiting Lincolnshire showground but the hosts made us feel welcome and showed us around the room on check in. The kitchenette was a nice addition, especially the fridge so we could keep our drinks for the weekend cool overnight. We’ll be looking to book again for next year!"

"According to my son and his mate who had travelled from Oxfordshire for a football match the accommodation was everything that was described. The host was super friendly and even took the boys into Grimsby the next morning after my son had lost his car keys at the match 😩 "

"We were there as a base for 2 nights. We were upgraded as the site wasn’t busy. Steve, the Manager, was extremely friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be going again, and next time, for more than 2 nights."
