"This is the second time we've stayed at the Mason Freehouse, it was lovely the first time we stayed, which made us keen to return. "Fantastic break between Christmas and New Year. We stayed in the annexe across the road. Our room was dual aspect with a lake view. It was perfect for our needs for our two nights stay. Breakfast was very good. The location was close enough to stagger up the main road from Bowness without too much effort. My only issues are that we were under a room which sounded like an elephant on treadmill most of the second night. Try for the top floor if you can. I did overhear a couple mention the main...
