The Space:

Toowoomba Valley Views sits in the rural locality of Meringandan, a 144-kilometre drive from Brisbane, along with other nearby towns such as Goombungee and Highfields. A comfortable accommodation perched high above Toowoomba with breathtaking panoramic views of rich native forests, valleys, and the city beyond. All with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.



The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the tiny house, except for the house yard. Upon your arrival, we welcome you with a cheese platter, local wine, and breakfast supplies.



We highly encourage campfire cooking and have provided all the necessary amenities for you to use. We offer a variety of recipe books and comprehensive campfire cooking instructions with all the cooking equipment needed so our guests enjoy a hassle-free experience.



What's more, we also offer horse-riding activities to our guests at an additional cost. If you wish to indulge in horse riding, we kindly request you to contact us 24 hrs before arrival for a smooth check-in.

Guests will enjoy your own private space but we are always happy to chat with you.



The Neighborhood:

It sits in the rural locality of Meringandan, a 20.7 kilometre drive from the city of Toowoomba, and a 144-kilometre drive from Brisbane-Queensland. Where you can explore shops, cafes, restaurants, and more.



Our local recommendations:



- Goombungee is a quiet town with all the local amenities such as fuel, supermarket, parklands, great pub, and cafes.

- Goombungee Spa Supermarket, Woolworths, and Coles supermarkets, BMS bottleshops are just a few of the nearby shops you can visit.

- Highfields Peacehaven Park has magnificent trees, established gardens and grassy areas, and stunning views towards the Bunya Mountains.

- Meringandan is a rural locality that offers huge portions of food (and camels in the garden!), a great bottle shop, and a butcher if you feel like grilling!

- Highfields offers a larger supermarket, drive-through bottle shop, takeaway foods (Thai), and Muller Brothers (great takeaway pastries and pies!), and a service station.



Getting Around:

By car:



1. From Brisbane, 2 hrs, and 10 mins to nearest town, Goombungee.

2. It is reachable by 2WD



By public transport



Bus to Highfields, train to Toowoomba, we can organise collection from either place. Taxis are limited. 20-minute drive to Highfields, 30-minute drive to Toowoomba station.



Other Things to Note:

- Pet-friendly accommodation

- No smoking allowed on the property

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Guests are invited to feed our animals with prior notice from the host

- We have resident cows and horses, Shetland ponies, goats, and chickens

- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas, and clean after your pet’s droppings

- Keep a safe distance from pets and farm animals as they are easily agitated

- Always remember to shut the gates before entering and leaving the paddocks

- Please do not enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission

- Please clean up after your pet’s shedding before checking out in courtesy of other guests

- Please note that this is a PET-FRIENDLY property, and pet policies will be sent prior to arrival

- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property

- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- In order to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our cassette toilets a minimum additional cleaning fee is applied for stays of 5 nights or more. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring a hygienic experience during your stay.
