"The Royal Sonesta Downton Portland is located near the city’s main attractions and restaurants. Good breakfast, nice bar and restaurant —open only a few days a week; very good service and generally a pleasant atmosphere. The lobby has a piano, it is beautifully decorated and is a welcoming and inviting spot. Recommended for business or pleasure."

"No one came to clean the room in spite of our request. There was no toiletries provided in the bathroom. Front desk staff was nice. Everyday they had to issue new breakfast coupons."

"The Hoxton is alright. It's a hipster hotel trying to hard to be a hipster hotel. They gave us two White Claws at checkin. That was a first. Our room was small. Super small. Like fighting NYC's tiny rooms for smallest space still rentable. Honestly nothing really bad to say. Nothing super good either. Other than you could actually get the room very dark at night. Bonus points for that. The mini fridge didn't work. The light switches were bananas. We finally got it sorted on our way out the door....

"It was in a really great location. I liked how it was real close to the Waterfront Park especially liked the restaurant and bar down in the lobby that was very convenient to go down and grab a quick drink or something to eat overall just a great experience"

"Positive aspects. Good location for downtown shopping and easy parking in their garage. Not so positive aspects. Room had pealing wallpaper and mold in the bathroom. Old thermostat was difficult to adjust. Noise from the garage below room. This is a hotel for dog owners. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant. I would not stay there again."

"Very dirty. Microwave oven and fridge had leftovers from previous guest. AC didn't cool"

"I stay here almost every year as I head north to escape the Texas heat. I stay here largely because it's on the Red Line. So it’s easy to get here from the airport. I then usually get a car the next day, again taking light rail to get there. The Inn is rather old, but they keep it really clean. The staff is good,but seem to keep busy so sometimes it's hard to get them to the front desk. Think the owners give them too many extra duties."

"It was a fine place to stay for a bed. It’s just old and smells like cigarettes and weed. 😂 but it’s cheap and super close to Moda center so it was fine. Staff is friendly."
