This hotel is by far one of the cleanest and friendliest hotels I've stayed at. The staff truly goes above and beyond and is genuinely happy to help you. The location is ideal for anything that you would like to do in downtown Portland or if you're just on an quick overnight stay. Tim at the front desk truly went above and beyond for me and helped me out with the questions I had. The staff at the bar were incredibly friendly and made quite an amazing Old Fashioned. I feel like this hotel puts a lot of care into the attention to detail to ensure that every guest has a restful night and memorable experience.

Fun place to stay with the eclectic decor. Very clean, great morning coffee, surprisingly quiet for being downtown. Convenient walking to cool shops and restaurants. Parking was a little challenging. Front desk staff at check in was indifferent. I think a new person was being trained, but still not very personable. Morning staff was a little more friendly. I would stay here again and have recommended to friends already.

Bring ear plugs! I cannot emphasize this enough. The windows are single panes of glass and you can hear every single word of conversation from the patio below. And every car and bird on the street. We were also awoken at 4 am by the sound of shattering glass- no idea what happened! Other than that, the room was comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms were nice. The provided toiletries were lovely. We needed a safe place to store our bikes and the staff let us use the employee area so they didn’t have to be on our bike rack on the street overnight. The staff also helped us with parking. And the food at Pacific Standard is great. I would stay here again, but pack ear plugs!

I stayed in a 1 bed with shared bathrooms. The room was clean, the bathrooms were stocked with toiletries and were very clean, the staff were all helpful, and the bar downstairs was lively throughout my whole trip. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spotless with beautiful tile work which you will appreciate. Just an all around amazing experience for me while I stayed at KEX. The hotel staff were amazing and always helpful, and made you feel like your were a friend instead of a guest. An all around great hotel you should try next time you’re in Portland.
