Worked out perfectly for us as a group of 5. The downstairs room work out well for seniors. All rooms have the beautiful lake view. The house has all the things you need. "Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. "Parking in the evening was an issue, as some parking spots were full due to non-hotel patrons dining at the on-site restaurant. Rooms with glass doors face the parking area, with no privacy, and the car headlights shine directly into some of the rooms. I requested a different room, and the hotel management was able to accommodate my request."

"We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. A delightful stay."
