New for 2022. Spacious, one level property with private hot tub, fire pit and wonderful views of the Purcell Mountains.
Wheelchair accessible main bedroom, bathroom, living area and deck. No Stairs.
Panoramic views of mountains, sunsets and stars.
Situated on 68 acres with 3 other properties at Mount 7 Lodges. Private hiking trail to an even better view.
We've put our 18 years of experience into this new building and are very pleased with the results. We love the peace and quiet of this large rural property and we welcome people that enjoy that too.

The home was perfect, newly built and very clean. The Mountain View’s were amazing and it was close to surrounding national parks. Owners were very nice and had an information book that had information/instructions for everything at the home and even information on the surrounding area.

Heavenly

We were traveling to Banff and wanted to do something a little off the beaten path, so decided to spend some time in the Western side of Rockies. Our time at the Red Fox Lodge was so idyllic. The views are unbelievable. We had a chance to feed horses and watch one be trained. We grilled and felt like we were in the middle of a postcard. The beds were divine and it was a joy to come back in the evenings after a long day exploring. Everything is so modern and clean, and Jo the host is so attentive. Bravo!

Wonderful stay in Golden

The property is great for a small family. Everything to make it feel like home is provided. The location is ideal for exploring Golden, and the numerous parks in the area (Yoho, Glacier, Revelstoke, Banff). Also very very close to Kicking Horse resort. Recommended A+

Fantastic Home with Incredible Views

The property was fantastic! The home was very clean, very comfortable, and was a short drive from the town of Golden and to Kicking Horse Ski resort. Our hosts were always available via VRBO messaging and were extremely accommodating. We would return in a heartbeat!

Quiet Winter Retreat

Host was quick to respond to any messages. The property is situated in a private area with a backdrop of trees. The house itself is updated with comfortable beds and touches like fans, extra fleece blankets and toiletries. We were excited and pleased because they included a Christmas tree and tasteful holiday decor outside. The indoor electric fireplace creates great ambiance while looking out the windows The hot tub was easy to use and a welcome sight after spending each day in the snow hiking. We drove from the property into Banff and Jasper each day. Golden has conveniences like restaurants, gas and an IGA. Would absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful escape

Our stay was wonderful. The house was very clean and had everything we could want to relax. Beds were comfortable and loved waking each morning to the view of mountains and horses. Very peaceful and secluded area, and hosts were close by if there were any problems (there were not). Road to the house was easy to navigate - no 4WD needed. Would highly recommend staying at Red Fox Lodge.

FANTASTIC STAY!

We can’t say enough great things about the Red Fox Lodge! It looks just like the photos, it’s new and clean, and is in a great location with everything you could need! The hosts are great and they have a book with any questions you might have - from things to do, where to eat, and how to relax! We can’t wait to stay here again in the future!

Awesome My mother 89 was very comfortable with no stairs and my husband and I loved the hot tub. Had a invigorating hike up to the old cabin. Everyday we went in a different direction using the house as base camp. Always felt like we were at home every night. Beds were wonderful and fully equipped kitchen for great breakfasts. All restaurants in town that we ate at were wonderful. Check out the art gallery for souvenirs from local artist. Perfect vacation

The Views!!!!

The views from this home were spectacular...and especially nice from the hot tub! The home is brand new and very comfortable. Clean, comfortable beds and furnishings, nice bathrooms and linens, good internet and a well equiped kitchen. It was a wonderful place to stay and enjoy our time in Golden. It's a 5 minute drive from town and an easy drive to Kicking Horse, the Dawn Nordic Center (amazing ski conditions), and Yoho. There is a great hike right out the back door too. We can't wait to go back to enjoy the summer months there.

One the the nicest places I have stayed in golden

Property was spectacular. Had everything we needed. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing especially after snowboarding all day. Beds were very comfy. Everything was just perfect.

Relaxing Getaway

What a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously, loved all the amenities (especially the hot tub) & the lodge itself, is stunning. The location is 10min from town but it certainly makes up for it with peace & quiet! We would love to stay here again or even enjoy one of the other lodges on the property. Thank you Jo & Dave!
