The check in was the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of travelling the world. I had 8 text messages and 2 Expedia messages which included confusing information and messages about visiting their reception to revalidate my room key otherwise they stop working during my stay. When I was giving feedback to the reception staff member she interrupted me and then gave me a demand for a credit card for a security deposit and couldn’t accept Apple Pay and then instead of trying to defuse the situation lectured me about letting her speak after she had interrupted me. Just played games and wouldn’t accept any responsibility for the ridiculous check in process and number of messages. To top it off the description on Expedia is misleading and appears to be intentionally deceptive about the direct beach access. The property advertises “Direct access to beach” and has at least two photos showing the property without any roads or parklands between the property and the beach. This is a misrepresentation of the property location. The property does not have direct access to the beach, you need to cross a very busy road and parkland before getting to any beach sand. The car park access is very narrow and could be very dangerous because of a one way traffic light control system. The front desk staff were not located in the same building and were very unhelpful and very rude. The council empty industrial rubbish bins early on Saturday and Monday mornings waking up guests.

We have stayed at neighbouring properties o on & nirvana which were exceptional. This was a bit disappointing in comparison, pool is tiny & in the shade and room was also small. Would def choose the other two properties over this one.

Beachfront at Kirra. Bus outside property, great walks either way along the beach. Walking distance to Twin Towns club, Coolangatta. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Loved staying at Kirra X! The only problem was, me being an elderly computer moron, operating the "smart" TV was well beyond my comprehension. There was not the usual compendium in our apartment with operating instructions for the TV or other appliances, which we found rather strange...

Beautiful space, comfortable beds, nice for 4 people. There is a lovely cafe downstairs and good restaurants in the area. Walking to surf/beach is a piece of cake. The area is prime for walking, jogging, biking, Pilates and other outdoor and ocean activities. The staff are very gracious and easy to work with. Would stay again. Thanks so Much X Kirra.

X Kirra is in a great location. Once you park your car in the narrow basement you won’t need your car again. The property is all walking distance to great restaurants and cafes. The property has a great view of the ocean and walking esplanade. The balcony could have done with a good sweep and the windows were grimy but you can overlook that once the doors were open and see the view. The room is well furnished, great size kitchen comfy beds. We would stay again.

We liked the location of the apartment as we could walk to everything we needed to get to. We didn't like the car park access as we found with a slightly bigger car it was quite tight to get around and we were on the bottom floor also.
