"The room lost power on the first night (including air condition) , we sent a message to them as instructed we didn’t get an answer until 10 am and they said they would fix it in 30 minutes but they never came back and they didn’t fix it all morning. When we were leaving to start our day we reminded them and that is when they finally decided to fix it. "A bit hard to find, on a small back street near the Globe Theater.
Spacious, modern room, quiet and peaceful place steps away from Borough Market, which is vibrant and heaving with people.
Really enjoyed my stay, but 2 thing to be aware of:
There is no phone in the room to contact the front desk, and no clock of any sort.
Which I found strange.
Also, no fire escape map on the door, like there is in every other lodging I have ever stayed in.

"Rooms do not have AC instead you are given a fan , which isn't sufficient when it's 31 degrees outside.
Water pressure was low in our room so we could not shower until after 2pm despite reporting the issue at 10am.
The room we were given was on the ground floor and did not have an outdoor area therefore we were unable to use this to dry our clothes outside in the warm weather. The photos of the rooms make it look like every room as some outdoor space. Washer dryer supplied was not good quality,...

"Cleaning staff appear to be a bit hit and miss these days - soap bottle left at sink open and empty as if it was going to be refilled but was forgotten about. No loo roll in the communal loo. Rooms are very hot in summer without aircon."
