"I stayed here a few months ago and I had hoped it had improved, however if anything it was worse. The bathrooms are something out the 1970s, the bath was marked with limescale and in the first room I was given the bath plug was almost impossible to get out and the bath was chipped. In that room the window was stuck open about 20cm and despite the efforts of a maintenance man it would not close. "Absolutely gem, the superior room is super spacious with an incredibly comfy big bed, beautiful bedding with sumptuous linens, high-quality pillows and duvet. I’m always dubious when rooms are called soundproof but this really was. We were in the first floor and it was silent - a miracle in central London! "Nice check in. Room at top of old building which was ok but could not open windows on 2nd hottest day of the year."

"If you are sharing a room for 2 people I would not recommend this place unless you each get your own room. It was very small and hard to move around. We had no toilet paper so I went downstairs to ask for one. The receptionist said ok someone will bring it. Nope! I had to go back down from the 3rd floor and asked if she can just hand it to me. It’s a great location but not recommended if sharing with someone."
