"We liked the property and the cabin was fine. Management was not available and there was no communication. The grounds were in need of up keep. The weather was tremendous. All in all we had a good stay because we are simple folks that know how to enjoy ourselves."

"We loved our stay. The home is well appointed-clean, secure, and welcoming. The bathrooms are modern, the beds comfy, and the family spaces, living and rec room/bar area were very nice. The kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciate that kayaks and a canoe were available without additional fees. We also enjoyed the electric fireplace. Perfect spot for a multigenerational gat away. Highly recommend!"

"We were provided zero communication with the check in process until we reached out, still had to clarify which cabin we were in. Owners were kind enough to allow us to check in early to attend family functions. TV did not work, was not provided wash cloths, no oven mitts provided, and cobwebs galore over the entire walls. Warm water in the shower ran out after 10 mins.
Appreciate providing a coffee maker, utensils, plates, and working appliances, a/c, heat, bedding, pillows, and decent space."

"Arrival was rough: the address listed on VRBO was wrong, leading us to the neighboring property to the north (which has two cabins) at 11pm. I walked into one before realizing it wasn't ours. The property manager was nice and called back, but didn't realize the address was wrong. He guided us by phone through spotty cell service to the correct house to the south (actual address 8696), which was hard to find in the dark due to a split driveway.There were only 4 towels for an 12-person property,...

"Excellent for a short fishing trip or short stay! Smaller rooms without all the frills. Very clean and easy process to check in and out. Cost was acceptable for the value. If you are looking for a basic stay this is it. Excellent value and location for anyone who’s experiencing the outdoors of the Northwoods. "
