"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. "The room I was given needed a fair bit of attention from the cleanliness of the bathroom,filling in the toilet roll and tissues Restaurant was ok but the food needed more variation.However the staff at the restaurant were very nice and helpful. Although it says there is a spa they mean it only offered massages. I feel Expedia could have done a better job with verifying all that is claimed in the description.I think it should be only a Two star rating. "
