"Water slide was a little too fast for our young kids. The doors for the bathroom and bedroom had a weird layout so they got in the way of each other. Other than that, everything was excellent. Breakfast was great and everything worked and was clean."

"Great hotel, super nice staff that went out of their way to be helpful. The elevator made a weird noise at the top when it was about to stop. The doors were extremely heavy making it a little hard to open easily or close softly. Breakfast was good but not great in options. A little bit of garbage on floor but nice clean room and new looking."

"The St. Paul is a nice hotel—though in need of a refresh. The bathroom amenities are nice, the rooms are decently-sized, there is a small side fridge next to the minibar. Staff are really where the hotel shines. Front door staff—James—are responsive and helpful. The front desk staff are also willing to help with requests. The hotel had five weddings while I was there, but I would have had no idea—nice and quiet. But the rooms are a bit dated. I heard a refresh is coming, but it is a bit...

"Both Mornings I went for Breakfast, not late, they were out of coffee, had to ask. The choices for food, was ok, but not great. Not near enough tables to eat at though, very small area! My room was clean, and nice, was a little smaller than I expected. The air conditioner was on the wall next to the bed, not much room to walk around it. And the fan was stuck, couldn't move the direction it was blowing, even could feel it clear across the room. I tried to turn fan to low, not much different!"

"The location of the hotel allowed us to walk everywhere in downtown St. Paul. Our room was unique and had views of two beautiful churches, the light rail and also the state capital. The breakfast was a thoughtful arrangement of foods including soy milk which delighted me! The downstairs bar was a nice spot to sit and relax with friends. The staff was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We can't wait to come back!!"

"The room as clean and the hotel was clean as well. I checked in after 10pm and waited at the front desk for about 10 minutes before anyone was around to check me into my room. Otherwise the hotel was as expected, nothing extravagant. The set up is a little odd to me as the elevators are on the far ends of the floor making the hallway exceptionally long. The rooms are far from sound resistant. You can hear people 4 doors down and every toilet flushing."

"Service at the desk is casual but friendly, the property looks great, and my room was very nice as well as comfortable and quiet. The breakfast area is also nice and with all the standard food options. Loved the newspapers! My only complaint is the slow internet connection."

"Our stay was okay. Our king room was super small. The mini fridge is a mini mini fridge and not very cold. The towels were thin and hard. The air conditioner was extremely loud. It was clean and comfortable otherwise. The towels bothered me the most. The staff were super nice which made up for some of the shortcomings."

"I absolutely love this hidden gem!!! Staff is so kind and helpful, they never hesitate to make sure our stay is as comfortable as possible!!!! Breakfast was yuuuummmmmy!!!! Egg rounds and sausage, breads, cereal, hardboiled eggs, some days biscuits and gravy (all days fried potatoes, just microwave them a smidge bit and they'll be perfect!)... Bath towels were the softest and best I've EVER experienced at a hotel! Hubby and 5 y/o (on the spectrum) had a BLAST in the pool! they have an outside...
