Hidden on the northern Spanish coast in Basque Country lies this small island connected to the mainland by a man-made bridge. At the top of Gaztelugatxe sits a small church that dates back to the 10th century and is apparently dedicated to John the Baptist. This hidden gem and the small hike with the cool ocean air are totally worth the long and windy drive to get there.
