1. "Classi Car" Suite with King-Size Bed and Air Conditioning

Gengenbach Altstadt

"Air conditioning!! Also great location, friendly and responsive host (although responses in the app were in German, in person he spoke some English). Clean and comfortable apartment, fun styling. Easy check out process. I saw a review that complained about hard, flat pillows- in my opinion the pillows are reasonably comfortable-- fairly dense but not hard, admittedly on the flatter side. Overall, we were quite satisfied and would stay here again."

2. Apartment 'Ferienwohnung - Uwe' with Mountain View and Wi-Fi

Gengenbach Altstadt

"Location, location, location. A wonderful location in the town and it made all the difference for us. Couldn't ask for better. Easy 8 minute walk to the train station. 2 minute walk to the bakery. 2 minute walk to the town hall and main square. Two lady friends, travelling together. A wonderful and worthy trip. Our major miscommunication was the 'two flights of stairs' (total of 25 stairs) from the inside main door to the unit, plus the 10 outside. With luggage, quite the undertaking....

6. Apartment 'Scheffelhaus' with Wi-Fi

Gengenbach Altstadt

"Pros: We are very impressed by the host, very flexible, and cooperative. They offered a room heater as we needed a special situation. The apartment is walkable from the station and city center, and the city itself is very beautiful. Suggestions - I would suggest that they (holidu or host) explain well in advance of how the check in mechanism is (like where the keys are stored etc). And this should be available on the web site. Secondly, it should have been clearly mentioned that the apartment...
