☀ What does the drive there look like?
➜ Transparently, because the resort is on part of the Smoky Mountains, the drive up to the resort can be steep and winding. However, the roads are paved and in the winter, they are plowed to ensure utmost safety. If you are terribly uncomfortable with driving on mountains, we will miss getting to host you and recommend another property. BUT, if you can try it out, the National Park views and natural coziness are what make Gatlinburg the tried and true mountain destination.

☀ Do you need to bring your own linens?
➜ No, no and absolutely not! Our promise to our guests is to provide consistency and to us, consistency means ensuring essentials. We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things!

☀ Is the hot tub private and what is the situation with the pools?
➜ Fortunately, Deer Ridge Mountain Resort allows guests access to a shared pool/ hot tub area at the resort. Unfortunately, this does mean that neither the hot tub, nor the pool are private. We understand that privacy is sought after, but we hope the extra amenities will make up for it!
➜ There are two outdoor pools available to guests and both are within a short 8-10 minute drive of the resort. The outdoor pools; however, are only open from Memorial day to Labor day. The specific locations will be shared after booking!

☀ Will the condo be loud/ noisy?
➜ Because this property is part of a resort, it does mean you will have neighbors in other condos. While we always hope that these other guests will keep their volume to a reasonable minimum, we cannot guarantee it. This particular unit is located on the top floor, so you could have guests below or beside you.

☀ Is smoking allowed in this property?
➜ The property is a 100% smoke-free zone. This means no smoking is allowed inside the condo, as well as the private patio.

My husband and I truly loved our stay at this property!! The location was great and property company was very helpful whenever the wifi went out one of the days during high winds. You can definitely tell the owners of this unit took there time in decor and finishes. My husband and I will surly be back looking to rent this unit for our future trips to Gatlinburg!!

The highlight of this property was truly the view. Super amazing to see sunrises and sunsets from either your room or the pool area. It was a little difficult to get to since it is quite high up- lots of twists and turns, but we took a minivan and it wasn't too terrible especially after the first few days. The style of the condo itself is very well decorated; the winding stairs are a great touch, and the 2 beds are huge. TV is included, washing machines are near the pool area, and the kitchen was also a good plus- our room had a good amount of utensils, bowls, plates, baking dishes, etc. Self check-in is super convenient as well.

What a beautiful property! The view is stunning. I could see Mt LeConte when the clouds cleared. The decor makes you feel like your in a cabin even though it is a condo. Nicely decorated. A nice grocery store down the road! You don’t have to drive into Gatlinburg if you don’t want to.

This condo is beautifully done with great updates. The view is outstanding especially at sunset. The kitchen & bath are small, but worked perfect for my husband & me. We saw a bear on the road when leaving the property on our last day. Fun!

We loved this condo! It was decorated really nice, clean, and comfortable. Check-in was easy. The kitchen has all the basic things you’ll need. The location is a bit of a drive to Gatlinburg, but we wanted that. Keep a look out for bears - we saw a mother and tiny cub out the slider. :)

The checkin process was simple, the process to everything was so easy and smooth, the only complaint I had was the drain in the bathroom was very very slow…but other than that, the property was great, quiet and ask around great.

My husband works from home. Staying at Smoky Sunrise was a great change of venue for the week. Enjoyed the view and the long walks through Cobbly Nob’s roads. Condo had everything we needed. Water pressure was great.
