Garden Apartment - beside the sea!
- Our renovated apartment is just 20 m from glorious Blackman`s Bay beach; at the quiet end. You can sit in the garden, enjoy the ocean view and at night be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves. Perfect place to just relax.
Please note that during peak periods we may require a minimum stay of 6 nights; ie/. between December 24th to 30th.
Our apartment is at the southern end of the beach in a quiet cul de sac just 15 min from Hobart. It has been cleverly built under the existing house with both a garden and ocean view. Perfect for couples with Queen bed plus comfortable double sofa bed, and space for a little one if needed.
Note that the grounds are not securely fenced for little ones who may wander with access to the street, the beach and slight overgrown cliff. If you bring your children to stay, and they are welcome, you must be prepared to watch them and take responsibility for their safety.
You do have your own entrance and off street parking beside entrance. Facilities include wifi, TV, DVD; music can be played thru the TV/DVD, BBQ, heating and air conditioning, electric blankets, laundry, full kitchenette with dishwasher, convection microwave oven, fridge, and hotplates. Separate living and sleeping areas. All very stylish and comfortable. During the winter bask in the winter sun whilst enjoying the ocean view!
Close by are restaurants, shops, walks and everything south of Hobart including Bruny Island and the Huon area and yet Hobart is only 15min away by car. Bus routes are close both going south and to the city.
Guests can enjoy any of the downstairs deck areas with plenty of sitting areas. The garden can be enjoyed with herbs to be picked and eventually vegetables too! There is access to the use of bicycles - all at your own risk and i reserve the right to refuse to allow their use. The main house and upper deck is a private area for my family.
The house itself has quiet occupants with great respect for privacy; both ours and others. I will welcome you in and be available for queries and occasional chats depending on your needs.
Please note that it is the standard rate that is listed and during busy times the nightly rate will increase; all these rates are shown on the calendar.
It`s a lovely place to stay.
