El exterior, en el área cerca de la piscina, está equipado con mesa y sillas, y el área de solarium está equipada con tumbonas y sombrillas.

What a great find! We were two families with 4 children aged 8-14 and this was an absolutely ideal base for us in Tuscany. As others have said - the house is so much bigger than it appears in the photos. The decor/ plumbing and electrics are somewhat dated, but this did not detract at all. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was great. The pool and outdoor space were amazing and we spent most of our time in and around the pool. The location was good as we had a car and so could easily get to the shops, to San Gimignano and Siena for day trips. The communication with Roberta and Vasco’s attentiveness were excellent. We had a slight problem with the electrics one evening, but they were available to help and Vasco was on site within 30 minutes to sort it out. A great villa - would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location and property. The Vila is very large and offers a lot of space. It is well equipped and decorated in a traditional Tuscan style. Roberta and Vasco are great hosts, very responsive and friendly. I would recommend the Vila and the location to everyone looking for authentic Tuscan experience.

Beautiful stay

The location of the villa is fantastic and the villa itself is extremely well laid out, clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and the host was incredibly helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay again, our one suggestion would be that perhaps some of the finishings could be updated, they were obviously very trendy and cutting edge when designed, but perhaps could be improved by some modernisation, and I think the villa would then be perfect.

Hosts were very welcoming and helpful and couldn’t do more. Property is tired and would benefit from investment in the plumbing and redecoration. Ensure you pack mosquito spray for poolside dining.

Terrific Tuscan stay

The property is simply huge. There were 7 adults in our party, and there was enough room for everyone to relax. The pool was superb, and there was also plenty of space to accomodate al fresco dining, or simply relaxing in the vast lounge watching tv or just chatting. Every room had air conditioning and we were all able to have our own designated bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the dishwasher was a real bonus. The kitchen in fact was more than adequate to accomodate two chefs who prepared a full five course meal for us one evening, where we sat by the pool to eat. The outside dining area also served to provide great shade during the lazy days around the pool. We had three hire cars and there was ample room for them.

A Dream Vacation in Tuscany

Roberta & Vasco (the owners) could not have been better 'hosts'. Whenever we had an issue, they were right on top of it. The great location of the Villa enabled us to visit so many beautiful places by car and also, because of the convenience of the train station in Certaldo. We had a wonderful 4 weeks and again, thank you, Roberta & Vasco.

Ein toller Urlaub

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Aufenthalt. Das Hausinventar ist zwar etwas älter, aber absolut zweckmäßig und versprüht südländischen Charme. Der Vermieter ist super und man kann ihn jederzeit kontaktieren. Einfach ein gelungener Urlaub und eine gute Wahl.

Beautiful spacious villa in an outstanding location

We had a a week stay between 1-8th August 2023. The host Vasco met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know to make our stay perfect. He also recommended some excellent restaurants.His daughter, Roberta, was also excellent at answering any enquires we had leading up to our stay and one while we were there.The villa is beautiful, very spacious with a lovley pool and outside area. It is also in a great location for visting local towns such as Siena and Florence which we did by train as the station is only about 2km from the Villa. A must is a visit to the old town of Certaldo and a meal out at Vasco's recommended restaurant.

Villa Retreat

The Villa presented as advertised. Vasco greeted us and gave us a house tour. He and Roberta were easy to communicate with and were responsive to all our questions. The location allowed us to do day trips and still return early enough to enjoy the patio and pool. Our family made memories, at this peaceful setting, which will be cherished for a lifetime.

Family holiday

Vriendelijke ontvangst. Mooi huis. Erg donker met zware meubelen. Voldoende slaapkamers en badkamers. Sanitair behoorlijk oud en werkt niet goed. Bij de ene wasbak wel warm-, maar geen koud water. Bij de andere te lage waterdruk. Bij andere badkamer duurt het minutenlang voordat er eindelijk warm water stroomt. De vloerbedekking in de slaapkamers is erg oud en zit boordevol stof. Vanwege de hoeveelheid stof nachtenlang wakker gelegen en continu inhalers en allergiepillen gebruikt tegen de astma en allergieën. Meerdere bankstellen, waarvan er twee zo gammel, versleten en doorgezakt zijn. Als je erop zit kom je er bijna niet zelfstandig uit. Zou niet mogen. Niet alle lichtschakelaars en stopcontacten doen het en het is te oud. De WiFi reikt niet verder dan de eerste slaapkamer. Fijn dat het zwembad dagelijks door de eigenaar wordt schoongemaakt en hij zorgt voor afvoer van het huisvuil.

Gorgeous villa in fabulous location

We had a wonderful time in Villa Grazia. Vasco and his daughter Roberta were extremely helpful and accommodating hosts and nothing was too much bother for them. They even helped us to book wine-tasting at the local Corbucci vineyard (which we would thoroughly recommend) when we were unable to get through to them. Vasco would clean the pool and take away our recycling every morning which was much appreciated. Certaldo is in a fabulous location. It is so close to all the main sights of Tuscany and San Gimignano is only a 15-20 minute drive away. We went to Florence and Siena by train as Certaldo has a train station and that worked out really well for us. Certaldo old town is also lovely and can be accessed easily by the little funicular which runs every 15 minutes. We had some lovely meals up there and would especially recommend Antico Fonte which has incredible views across the valley to San Gimignano in its restaurant garden. Certaldo is famed for producing quality onions including onion ice cream which has to be tried as it is far nicer than it sounds ! The villa is very comfy and spacious (more so than the photos suggest) with a large garden and pool. Our only criticisms are that the electrics and plumbing are very out of date and could do with being upgraded. If you like power showers then you will not get those in this villa and it can take a long time for hot water to come through – but do persevere as it does in the end – but that was no real issue for us for 2 weeks

Our stay at Villa Grazia, Gambasse Terme, Certaldo

We were a family of 7 staying at the Villa. The owner, Vasco made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely time sitting around the pool during the day and eating out at night. Trains to Siena and Florence from Certaldo station were fairly frequent. We also managed to book a wine tasting (takes about an hour) at a winery further up the road but it's uphill and would advise you drove to it. We booked online. We especially liked using the pizza oven and the bbq. Thank you Vasco and Roberta - you are excellent hosts.

Amazing 10 day stay at this beautiful house

On arrival everything was spotlessly clean, the house had everything you could possibly need. The pictures of the house are spot on but do not truly show how beautiful it is inside. The pool was lovely and Vasco and family were amazing and helpful. We enjoyed amazing trips to Siena, San Guimininano, Florence and The restaurants of Certaldo Alto were fabulous. Please stay here and enjoy!

Tuscany Villa on the edge of Certaldo next door to the wonderful Tuscan countryside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this large 4 bedroom/bathroom villa with plenty of secure car parking and adequate swimming pool immediately adjacent to the huge living room and external dining area with plenty of necessary shade and sun loungers. The efficient air-conditioning was a godsend in the 38⁰C daytime heat. Great pizzeria 5 minutes walk away with bar adjacent. San Giminagno a short drive away and Firenze by train with free car park near Certaldo Station. Certaldo Alto medieval area is accessible by Funicular from central downtown area.

Vasco ist ein äußerst angenehmer und freundlicher Vermieter, es verlief alles ohne Probleme. Der Pool ist ideal für Kinder und auch für die Erwachsenen eine gern genutzte Abkühlung. Das einzige was fehlt ist eine kleine Spielecke für Kinder. Dies ist aber kein Grund um Punkte abzuziehen. Vielen Dank für das schöne Urlaubserlebnis in einer sehr schönen Region Italiens.

70th Birthday Celebration

My husband and I hosted 6 other people to help me celebrate my 70 Birthday. There was plenty of room for all of us, comfortably . We had a few problems but Vasco and Roberta were very prompt in fixing what they could . The Pool was a big hit.

The property is incredible in a great location close to many beautiful cities like San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Florence and Pisa. The house is very spacious but the best part are the lovely hosts Vasco and Roberta! Highly recommend!

Wonderful Villa, Gorgeous location, Highly recommend

We were a group of 7 adults who stayed at Vasco's wonderful property. The outside of the house is as wonderful as it looks in the pictures with a generous pool, sun-beds, BBQ and grassy area. The inside of the house is much bigger and nicer than the pictures suggest. It is truly a gorgeous house with big bedrooms, huge bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. We spent many nights cooking for ourselves and eating at the lovely outdoor table. Vasco and his daughter Roberta could not be better hosts. They were quick to respond to any of our needs and Vasco came to clean the pool early every morning. We had a storm that hit us one day and broke one of the sun umbrellas. One quick text to Roberta and Vasco had it replaced before we got up the next morning. You could not ask for better or nicer hosts. The location is also ideal. From the villa it is roughly a 30 min walk or a very quick drive to the centre of Certaldo. From there we got the train to Sienna and Florence and we also drove to the gorgeous San Gimignano. It was such a luxury to have such wonderful cities near. There is also a lot to explore in Certaldo and you can take the funicular to Certaldo Alto which is not to be missed. A gorgeous old town with some unbelievable restaurants and stunning views. For wine lovers you must visit Corbucci's vineyard just up the road from the Villa. We are serious wine lovers and we got to taste some of the best wine we have ever had and bought lots to ship home! We had a fabulous two weeks at this Villa and would recommend it highly. We hope to return soon.

Bellissima villa

Una bellissima esperienza: la villa è molto bella e grande, attrezzata alla perfezione, rispondente perfettamente alle descrizioni del sito; la piscina è ottima e curata perfettamente dal gentilissimo e disponilibilissimo Sig. Vasco! La posizione consente gite in parecchie località a breve distanza (Siena, Volterra, Monteriggioni, ecc.). Assolutamente consigliabile per una vacanza toscana.

Wonderful place in fantastic location

We stayed at Vasco's and Roberta's place as two families and had a great time. The villa is fairly old but everything is in great shape and works perfectly well. Everything you need for a great vacation is provided and if not, Vasco is readily available to help. For example, our kitchen AC was broken and it got fixed within two days; we needed some pool towels and he brought them the next day. They also provided a high chair and travel cot for my 9 month old son. The AC, pool and BBQ was well loved and used in the heat wave we've experienced, the pizza oven lacked some equipement so we didn't use it (but that wasn't a big deal as a pizzeria is a 5min walk away!) The location of the villa is fantastic. Having San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, multiple wineries, fabulous views and great restaurants etc etc all within an hour's drive makes this very special. Thank you for an excellent week Vasco and Roberta!
