"Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam. "

"Lovely location, parking at the hotel is limited. We stayed for four nights, Breakfast was a disappointment, on three occasions the eggs were over cooked, fresh fruit was a slice of Mellon, no bread/ roles. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was located a the rear of the hotel looking over a covered area for pub and hotel guests use. with the windows open the noise from this area was disturbing. But overall we enjoyed our stay."

"We had a lovely spacious room with a comfortable bed, a bonus was the beautiful views of the river through the wide full height windows. Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...

Seaview is very limited in general from this property but lovely gardens make up for this. My father is in his 80s and managed ok, but to say this property is likely not ideal for those with mobility issues as there are lots of stairs and it's all built into a hillside. Upon arrival the receptionist was rather brusque, not to say rude, and just barked “surnames” in our direction, which wasn’t very welcoming. "I like the character and location of the property and the staff are doing the best that they can. The property is dated and in need of investment. The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner (hoovering the carpet which did not seem to happen during my stay) and the bedding did not fit the mattress. The staff were kind and helpful though some better manners from certain bar staff would have gone a long way. The food was great."
