The unit that we had was the standard one bedroom with two double beds and the unit was super clean, modern and spacious! My mom and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Rinn Gion Shirakawa. POSITIVES: The room was a great size (compared to some Japanese hotels) with good, customisable lighting (some hotels have had very low lighting in comparison). "The Nol Hotel was very easy to get to from Kyoto Station and it is centrally located- close to the Nishiki Market and the busy shopping district. We loved walking around the neighborhood, exploring the shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful. We really liked the small lobby and enjoyed making origami animals with the colorful paper provided. The washer/dryer worked well once we google translated the directions.
