  • The property lies in the centre of Tuscany at 20 km from Lucca, 50 kms from Florence, Pisa and beaches. It is an ideally position to visit the most beautiful cities of Tuscany, for a day at the beach or a in the mountains (monte Abetone). The whole property is for private/exclusive use of the tenant (not shared with any other person), so it is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday. It has a large garden with a well maintained lawn, the garden is completely fenced and there is an entrance gate. There is a 12x6 meter swimming pool (depth 1,2 to 1,6 meter) with romain stairs and outdoor shower. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, garden chairs, gazebo with 2 chairs and sofa. There is a covered terrace with table and banks on the southern side, at few meters there is also also a barbecue at disposition. There is also a table with chairs available if you prefer to eat near the pool. The property features also 2 mountain bikes, table football and a lawn of around 10 by 5 meter with mini soccer goals. In spring 2025 a new room was added where the new kitchen is placed, it features also a large dining table, fireplace and oven. The kitchen is next to a terrace with tables/chairs and a view on the pool. There are a fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas hob with 5 burners, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, microwave, fridge/freezer, bottle rack. In the kitchen you will find bottles of white/red/sparkling wine from Tuscany that you can consume and pay by consumption. The villa has on the ground floor a large dining room with table for 10, living area with sofa for 6 persons and 2 additional sofa chairs (3 flat TV of 55, 28,28 inch, DVD player, CD-stereo) a bathroom with toilet/shower). The 3 bedrooms are on the first floor, all are equipped with air conditioning. One has a king bed, a single bed and a baby cot. The other two bedrooms have a double bed and 2 single beds (it is possible to ad an extra bed in the last room). There are 2 bathroom with toilet/shower on the first floor (one is very small). If you are 2 families with 5 children, it is possible to put another extra bed in the hallway next to the bedrooms or one of the children can sleep in the sofa bed on the ground floor. Wi-fi internet connection (unlimited up and download), SKY pay TV available for free. Big supermarkets at 7km, close to the speedway exit of Altopascio (also on sunday open). Restaurant/pizzeria, grocey store, butcher and bar 1 km far away, more restaurants and shops available in the towns of Chiesina Uzzanese (5 Kms) and Fucecchio (11 kms). There are tennis courts at 8 kms (red clay see www.tcsantacroce.com). The nearest wyneries are www.fattoriamontellori.it/la-tenuta and www.cantineleonardo.it/?lang=de. Nearest golf clubs (all within 30-40 minutes driving): Cosmopolitan golf & Tirrenia Golf Club (18 and 9 holes, both near Pisa and Sea), Golf Club Bellosguardo Vinci (9 holes, near Empoli), Le Pavoniere golf (18 hole, near Prato).  The Poggio de' Medici golf club (18 hole, near Florence) and Golf Club Castelfalfi (18 hole, near San Vivaldo) are both at 1h driving. The property is easily to reach if you arrive by airplane (the airports of Pisa and Florence are at 50 kms of distance).

Wonderful countryside location

This is a great place to stay in the country with friends or family. Roomy, private location on approximately 1 acre. Beautiful landscape, private pool, several outside dining areas. Nearest grocery and 1 restaurant about 2 miles away. Pisa about 45 minutes by car, Lucca about 25 minutes, and Florence about 75 minutes (we went by car once and rail once). Communication with owner was timely.

The property was great. We were 6 adults and one big dog. It was perfect. I would suggest to have a car to get around easily. Roberto and his mom are delightful and very friendly.The pool is big and offers lots of opportunity to play and swim. The barbecue space is very nice. From the property you are quickly in Siena, San Gimigiano, Pisa or Florence. The kitchen is greatly equipped and provides all you need. We will most likely be back if we decide to spend some time in Tuscany.

Querce Villa with pool

Fantastic Villa with lots of space Overall we had a great stay in this villa and would return. It was clean and description matched well. Everything was in working condition. The Owner was friendly and helpful. Car is essential but there are restaurants in 10min radius. Other places are easily reachable in 60min drive to explore. (For Florence we recommend train from Altopascio) The only slightly negative point was the electricy&gas bill at the end. Make sure you have enough cash left.

Unfortunately, our stay was not what we wanted. The pool is beautiful and very large, but the condition of the house and the furnishings are in no way justified for this price. The coffee machine and other kitchen appliances are either broken or unusable due to limescale. The bedrooms definitely need painting, but the owner doesn't care. They just want to cash in. The owner was an hour late on the last day and didn't even get in touch. We won't be coming back.

Schöne Lage - etwas veraltete Einrichtung

Das Objekt liegt perfekt, man kommt überall schnell hin. Das Dorf ist ruhig und das Haus abgelegen. Der Pool ist mega. Der Garten ist groß und eingezäunt und perfekt für Hunde. Das Haus Und die Einrichtung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Dennoch verbringt man die Zeit im Garten und man kann diese Zeit auch genießen

Heerlijk ruime vakantiewoning met mooi zwembad en ruime tuin

De vrijwel perfecte vakantiewoning met een groot zwembad. Fijne buitenruimte met tenminste 3 locaties om te zitten. Ruime binnenruimte met uitstekende airco op de drie slaapkamers. Twee douches in drie badkamers. Ruime eetkamer en zitkamer. Wifi is prima. Smart tv werd door de kinderen erg gewaardeerd. De omgeving is voor wandelen en fietsen wat minder geschikt door krappe wegen waar auto's (veel te) hard rijden. Goede uitvalbasis voor uitstapjes naar Lucca (25 minuten), Pisa (40 minuten) en strand (bij Pisa, 50 minuten).

Très chouette séjour en Toscane

Superbe maison spacieuse et confortable, très propre et avec air conditionné dans toutes les chambres (pratique en cas de canicule) ! Seuls petits bémols: cuisine équipée de façon basique, petite et sombre mais fonctionnelle. La literie est un peu dure. La situation de la villa est relativement éloignée de la plupart des commerces (voiture indispensable), mais se révèle parfaite lorsqu’il s’agit de rayonner vers différents sites de visites: Pise, Lucques, Florence, et même Sienne. Nos petites ont développé des réactions cutanées probablement à l’eau de la piscine - trop fortement salée/chlorée - mais très bonne réaction de Guido et Francesca : modification immédiate de l’eau; Francesca a été jusqu’à nous accompagner chez son médecin de famille ! Bref, très chouette séjour en Toscane!

Wonderful villa with stunning pool

This is a wonderful, relaxing, rambling villa with a rustic feel. We were a family of 6 and there was plenty of space for us all. The pool is everything everyone has said before. Quite stunning. You couldn't wish for better & it was always warm. The villa is in a perfect, central location so it's easy to get to Lucca, Pisa, Sienna etc.Car hire is essential for getting around. You will need to do an initial shop for essentials, soap, washing up liquid etc but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped. We would highly recommend this villa and would happily return to it for a future holiday.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles was macht braucht ist da, mit eingeschlossen eine entspannende Ruhe. Sehr hoher Ausstattungsstandard. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zu empfehlen.

Piacevole vacanza

Abbiamo passato una buona vacanza, nell'abitazione abbiamo trovato tutto ciò di cui potevamo aver bisogno e i proprietari si sono messi a nostra disposizione per ogni eventuale necessità. Siamo stati sfortunati con la piscina nei primi giorni perchè aveva un problema con l'impianto di filtraggio, l'acqua comunque è tornata splendida subito dopo l'intervento del tecnico.

Es war einmal....ein schönes Anwesen

Vor einigen Jahren war das Haus sicher mit 5 Sterne zu bewerten. Offensichtlich wurde in den letzten Jahren das Thema Gewinnmaximierung vor Pflege und Erhalt gestellt. Die Summe der vielen kleinen Mängel steht aus meiner Sicht und im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Objekten nicht mehr in Relation zum Preis. Außen: Fehlende und defekte Liege Defekte Pooldusche weniger gepflegter „Garten“ Innen: Verstopfter Abfluss in eine der Duschen Schäbige und durchgesessene Sofas schäbiges und nicht ausreichendes Küchenequipment u.a. keine Weingläser Internet mit sehr schlechter Perfromance (Surfstick/ Mobilen Router) Abgerissene Türklinke Alte Matratzen Insgesamt abgewohnter Gesamteindruck des Hauses (außen wie innen) Schwierige Übergabe, da Ansprechpartner nur Italienisch sprechen (English is a must) TOP: Der Pool Die Reklamation der defekten Dusche, defekten und fehlende Liegen sowie der abgerissenen Türklinke wurde innerhalb von 2 Tagen repariert bzw. getauscht. Super Pool, tolle Lage

Haus, Lage und vor allem der Pool sind super. Man kann sich erholen und hat wirklich seine Ruhe. Die Nachbarn sind quasi unsichtbar. Livorno, Pisa, Florenz etc. sind gut zu erreichen für Ausflüge. In direkter Umgebung des Hauses gibt es nicht so viel, eine nette kleine Ortschaft mit Metzger, Minisupermarkt und Restaurant, aber mit dem Auto kann man in 15 Minuten alle großen Supermärkte (coop, conad) erreichen. Manches in und um das Haus ist ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen, aber der Vermieter ist sehr bemüht, alles nach den Wünschen seiner Gäste einzurichten. Das Haus ist groß und man kann sich mit mehreren Leuten gut drinnen und draußen aufhalten. Die Küche ist ein bisschen knapp ausgestattet. Highlight des Hauses ist der Pool - ein Traum! Wir haben unseren Urlaub genossen!

Spacious villa and grounds with excellent pool

Overall, we enjoyed the holiday, particularly the pool, which was probably the best and biggest one we have had in six years. There was also plenty of space around the villa and several places to sit. The villa itself was fine, but on arrival we found that several items that we would normally expect to be provided, we had to go out and buy. After contacting the owner, sharp knives and bags for the rubbish bins were provided, but we had to buy washing up liquid, scourers, cleaning cloths and liquid, toilet rolls, soap for all the wash basins, dish washer tablets, washing detergent, oil, vinegar and pepper. We left all of these, so hopefully the next occupants would not have to go out and buy them. WE ate at the bar/restaurant in the nearest village a couple of times, but we struggled to understand some items on the menu, even though an English translation was provided. On the whole, the food was good and it is obviously popular among the locals. We used the local supermarket regularly and found the staff very friendly and helpful, even though they didn't speak English, but they would get other customers to translate for us. They also recommended nearby places to visit, such as Montecarlo, a typical Tuscan village on a hill, and the Pinocchio Theme Park which the kids enjoyed. The location of the villa was fine for visiting Pisa, Lucca, and San Gimignano.

- extérieurs sales et non entretenus (sauf espace piscine) - mobilier de jardin et piscine sale et bancal - espace cuisine sévèrement sous équipe (avons du acheter du matériel) - éclairages extérieurs déficients (terrasse coin barbecue non utilisable en soirée) - parking privatif encombre durant tout le séjour par un véhicule - à notre arrivée le nettoyage avait été plus que sommaire - odeur de refoulement égouts permanente - passages sournois et inquisiteurs du propriétaire durant de longues périodes et en dehors des plages horaires prévues à cet effet - les vues sur site ne reflètent pas la réalité - le prix demandé est en totale inadéquation

Well kept, well equipped with a genuine feel

We (4 adults, 3 children 2-6 years old) had a great week at this place and would gladly take another. Although there is a neighbour right behind the fence we felt very much alone as we could hardly see them (only hear them speaking Italian sometimes, which just added to the genuine feel of the Place). The only things that pulls down the rating are the location (it's far from everything (although the restaurant Casa something a few km away is a really nice local restaurant with great food), and the fact that the very friendly landlords didn't speak English at all. Oh, and that the garbage recycling system was hard to catch, and was not explained upon arrival. Caused us a little tiny bit of frustration and a bit of trying and failing. All in all, we loved the place!

Spacious property with beautiful pool/gardens

We had a fab time thank you at Casamarina despite the extremely high temperatures of the July heatwave! - thank goodness for beautiful pool - very clean and well maintained. We were a family of 4 with 2 small children and perfect size for us all. The garden was beautiful with well-maintained grounds and flowers. The garden equipment seemed a little dusty and unused but perhaps we were the first visitors of the year and just needed a bit of a "wipe-down". The house was great - spacious, cooling and relatively well-equipped. Air-conditioning units in the bedroom were essential in the very high temps we experienced. Agree with the other reviewer, it would have been nice to have some dishwasher tablets, washing powder or at least a tea-towel and some cleaning cloths but very cheap at the local Conad! Guido was always at the end of a text/phonecall to answer any queries and was very prompt in his response. Have suggested some leaflets/info about the local area would have been helpful but the local Trattoria was great. Traditional, friendly staff and popular with the locals. Was packed out on a Tuesday night! There is very little mobile signal and therefore the mobile wi-fi connection didn't work whilst we were there. Thanks for a lovely holiday

Fantastic, relaxing villa!

We had a fab time here! The villa is well equipped and the pool is fantastic. The garden is beautiful too! The villa is perfectly placed for trips around Tuscany - we all had a holiday to remember!

Lovely villa, great pool and garden

Great villa in a very quite location, well maintained and clean. Villa is well equipped (but no dishwasher tabs or washing machine powder) Also, wi-fi and phone coverage is poor. Local restaurant is very good. Guido excellent to deal with.
