'Day Dream' Beach House Half Block to Destin Beach Freshly Remodeled

This is a beach cottage beauty! Truly a 'Day Dream' at the beach. Just a half block to the beautiful sugar-sand beaches of Destin Florida. Clean and well maintained throughout the interior. Hardwood and travertine floors on the first. Spacious 2,085 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2.5 baths plus a loft with a day-bed in the primary bedroom. The primary has a king bed, futon, smart 65" HD TV and Blu-ray player. The loft above the primary has a day/trundle bed that sleeps two. It has a smart TV and Blu-ray player. The spacious primary bath has a large walk-in shower and large free-standing tub. Both downstairs bedrooms open to the backyard area which features an extensive paver-stone patio area with a huge 5-burner gas grill and plenty of outdoor seating. The first guest bedroom has a queen bed and 42" smart HD TV with Blu-ray player. This bedroom shares a Jack-n-Jill bath with the 2nd guest bedroom, however the half-bath is right next to this bedroom. The third bedroom features 2 bunk beds each with a full/twin mattress sleeping 6 kids comfortably. The bunk room also has a 40 inch smart HD TV with Blu-ray player. The den features a 57" smart HD TV with Blu-ray player with a sound bar and two full sleeper sofas. High definition cable TV and wireless internet is included. The dining room table has room for eight. The fully stocked kitchen features a gas stove, a gas double oven, microwave, and large refrigerator. The first and second floor wrap-around porches are perfect for relaxing and chilling out. BEACH ACCESS: Five houses to the east and you are out of the subdivision entrance. Go one half block down Crystal Beach Drive and just to the right of The Inn at Crystal Beach and you are at the public beach access. It is a short and easy walk. (click the "Location" tab)
COMMUNITY POOL: Is eight houses away on the same side of the street.

Family Vacation

The house was amazing. We enjoyed how close it was to the beach. The cleanliness was just ok. There was sand on the floor when we arrived and a pile of sand in the corner in the bunk bed room and there was another dirty issue but I don’t want to say. The owners are aware of it and they personally called me to apologize which meant a lot to me. The cleaning people were suppose to show up the next day but they never did. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay. Especially with a bigger family.

The most amazing week of my life!

It was the most adorable, spacious, clean and so cozy house. I loved everything about it! It is in the most perfect location and so quiet and family friendly. We did not want to leave. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

Ray is a wonderful owner who has put a lot of effort in making a wonderful place for vacationers to come and have a home away from home. This property is everything it is listed as, and Ray was a pleasure to work with. All positives on everything! I would suggest renting a golf cart if you carry a lot of bunch stuff. Also, it’s a good place, so the beaches get plenty of people.

Owner (Ray) is great

The property is exactly as promised - walking distance to the beach, quiet neighborhood and clean. We didn’t have hot water for the first part of our stay, but it was fixed as soon as I reached out to Ray. The front door is a little quirky but calling the property manager helped us get in. I would return to the property in the future!

Outstanding host and location.

The group had an amazing time with this property and will definitely return next time we have this many people. Very walkable to the beach in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. We did have an issue with not having enough hot water for our 12 people to shower every evening and parking was tight for 4 vehicles. The host and neighbors are chill so long as your group does the same.

Big house and close to the beach

The house was great and the location was too. The only strange thing was the lack of hospitality. Only one dish towel in the kitchen, no replacement for toilet paper or paper towels. The oven mits for taking pans out of the oven were almost useless. Along with that, someone came up and worked on a sprinkler right in front of the front door for about an hour or so without notifying us beforehand. Also, on the last night we were staying, huge bags of sheets, blankets, etc. were just left right in front of the door. Seems unprofessional when we weren't set to leave until the morning after. Would be a 5-star review if it wasn't for those things.

Another trip to the beach

Great property! Everything was there that we needed to have a great week! Very short walk to the pool and the beach! We had a great time, and the house was big enough to enjoy family time or personal time. I would recommend this property to others looking for a great place. The property was well maintained, and you did not have to have a degree in engineering to operate the televisions! Great stay, we will be back!

We couldn’t get in, due to the deadbolt lock not unlocking and we’re told it was going to be an hour before they could get someone to us…. But once we were in everything was perfect!!!

The house was clean and comfortable and the location was great. Short walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops close by. You will need to bring all the beach equipment you like to use or buy it while there.

Great location. Not to far from bars and restaurants. The only negative thing was we weren’t aware that there wouldn’t be blankets for every bed! The property manager was nice and everything went smooth !
