Hotels a Ford City, Taft

"The neighborhood seemed rough, but the whole town did."

"The mattress was horrific! It was hard as a rock. By the show of cars there were only 4 or 5 in the parking lot, yet we were put in a room that was next to a room occupied by a woman and her crying baby. She even knocked on the door to ask if we had a light for her cigarette!"

"Clean, comfortable and quiet. We will stay there again."

"Comfortable and clean; this is a good place. Things don't necessarily work like new but they do work. My only issue was the faint mildew scent on opening the room but after airing it a bit my nose got used to it quickly"

"It was okay. Convenient parking property fairly well maintained. Manager was friendly and helpful. The main thing was there was no cool/cold water temps in the sink or shower. The cold water tap was very very warm. This is an issue in all their rooms apparently in the summer with triple digit heat, the pipes get so hot that there’s no cold water."

"It's an older hotel, so that saying everything was clean as much as they can. But at least there were no any kind of bugs or flying inside. The check-in staff upgrades me to a kitchenette. So nice of her."

"Convenient and clean"

"I’ve stayed at this location a minimum of six times over the last two years. I’ve generally been pretty happy with my accommodations. I was a little less so with my last stay. The mattress in this room was very thin, almost like from a sofa sleeper, and made sleeping more difficult. I could not get the air conditioning to work, but they did send up a man immediately, and he proceeded to get it working in short order. Their Wi-Fi needs to be upgraded. My laptop kept freezing up and losing...

"It had a nice pool area. Didn't get a chance to use it this time. Maybe next time. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was very clean and bedding was comfortable. parking was close and convenient. We usually are there for 1 night going to California and 1 night on our way back from California to Arizona. I find that for the price the rooms are just as nice as more expensive places. We would highly recommend staying here."
