"Very nice place also staff are so kindly and this place is look more cleaner then before .. maintenance clean very well outside the building and it's very clean then before . Last year plenty flies now no more flies it's very super looking clean outside now. I will come again I enjoyed my staying . Thank you Fairground inn."

"I wouldn’t say this is the cleanest best western we stayed at during our 9 days. Some mold in the bathroom, difficult to figure out how to get shower warm. Carpet does not feel clean. So many recliners sitting in corners, multiple paint colors, stuff on the walls and counters makes it feel cluttered."

"Front desk staff was not professional. Upon my arrival I felt like I was imposing on the staff at the front desk. Later in the evening when I returned from dinner, there were several men getting high just outside the main entrance to the hotel. The smell was atrocious! The men leared at me as I walked up to the front door of the hotel. As I entered the hotel, the men followed me in. I felt very uncomfortable! I went to the front desk and shared my concerns. The staff said the men were harmless....

"There was not one redeeming quality about this motel. The room was disgustingly dirty & the blankets had cigarette burns. The tv didn’t work at all & there was absolutely no air conditioning"

"Rooms are definitely due for a remodel. Door did not close/ lock properly. I had to slam it hard for it to close and the lock would not engage. The area is noisy and obnoxious and there were alot of crack heads hanging out in the parking lot at night Sheets and towels had stains although they seemed to be washed Wifi was frustratingly slow. I had to leave and find late night cafes to do work. The bathroom had a window but no curtains so if someone wanted to peep, they would have a free...

"Our room was spacious, with two queen beds plus a sofa and chair facing the sliding glass door with views across the back lawn. Linens were soft, pillows were plentiful, and the room was impeccably clean. Bathroom has been nicely updated but retained its classic blue bathtub. The motel is quiet and off the highway, though of course you’ll hear the occasional train. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, and pretty grounds. This is what an independent motel should be."
