In a great location, just behind the square of Santo Spirito, a totally private apartment with free wifi, air-conditioning, heating, fully equipped kitchenette, bathroom and an unforgettable atmosphere is waiting for you!

Easily reachable with a pleasant 10-minute walk from the SMN station or by bus (bus stop 200 m from the apartment) the apartment is located in the heart of the Florentine Oltrarno where you will live a wonderful experience in one of the most beautiful and lively districts of Florence.
Nearby there are many shops, bars and restaurants where you can relax and spend some pleasant time to enjoy good food & wine.
The nearest bar is only 80 meters away; bakery, fruit and vegetables and butcher's are around the corner; Carrefour and Conad can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

The car - not necessary - can be left in a paid parking lot about 300 m from the apartment.

The apartment is on the 1st floor (1 flight of 20 steps) of a typical florentine building and consists of MASTER BEDROOM with king size bed, DINING ROOM with a matrimonial sofa bed (140cmx190cm), KITCHENETTE and BATHROOM with extra large shower.
It is also extremely quiet and peaceful because all the windows facing the cortyard.

A child's chair and a cot with orthopedic mattress are available on request free of charge.

During the day you will be immersed in the pleasant Florentine life with its shops and its markets; at night you will choose from numerous restaurants in the area to return to the quiet of your apartment.
The Basilica of Santo Spirito as is Piazza del Carmine and the Brancacci Chapel, Piazza Pitti and Ponte Vecchio (Old bridge) can be all reached with a pleasant walk of just few minutes.
The Uffizi gallery and the Cathedral are right on the other side of the river.

It was fabulous. The hosts went way out of their way to make our stay memorable. The apartment is in a great neighborhood walkable to everything. It is cozy, clean, with all the amenities. We loved our week there and the hosts and apartment helped make Florence shine. We highly recommend.

Pleasant stay

Christmas Break

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying in this apartment over the Christmas week. Its location was perfect for what we were looking for, as it was in a quiet neighborhood but was also easy to walk to all major sights. When there was a need to contact the owners for a minor question, their response was received very quickly.

Nice clean apartment in great location

Great location in ‘old town’ Florence, close to Pitti Palace and excellent dining and great gelato. Also just a short walk across one of the bridges to see the Duomo, Academia and all the other wonderful sites in Florence. Chiara was very accommodating, allowing us to come a day early and meeting during her lunch time. She gave us good information and tips and what to see, where to eat and how to get around. We had a small issue with the bathroom during our stay and Chiara responded immediately and had it resolved while we were out sightseeing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely Little Apartment in the Heart of Italy

Cozy, comfortable apt with all you need

My husband, daughter and I spent 4 nights at this apartment, which was so convenient to the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, shops and restaurants, and a great oasis to come back to after spending the day exploring. It was only 1 flight of stairs up (which seems minimal for Italy) and then you are home to welcome air conditioning (also not existent in many places) and a comfortable bed. Though small, everything was well organized and well thought-out so it didn’t feel tight. Yet it was comfy. My daughter had her own pull out bed in the dining/living room, which did leave no couch (we could have folded it up every day), and the kitchen had all the utensils and cups/plates you need. We did not cook there, but you could cook something simple. We did use the washing machine which held more than you think. There is ample closet space in the front/bedroom. It did not have views, but we were mainly there to sleep and relax in evenings. Shower was good. Chiara was patient waiting for us as we were delayed in arriving. Prior to our visit, she gave me a lot of information, for example, advising us where to stay in a hotel the 1st night (we were driving the next day) which I don’t know how I would’ve known otherwise. Her friend, Catherine, helped us many times (we locked ourselves out and needed help booking taxis) as Chiara was going out of town. Both were so kind. We recommend restaurant (with AC!) called Trattoria Boboli. Thank you, Chiara and Francesco!

Location was great. Hosts suggestions were good. Clean- smelled like bleach. But moldy grout in the bathroom made it seem dingy. Could use new sheets and pillows, dish towels. A fresh kitchen sponge! No shelf space in bathroom.

Magical location

We loved this apartment! There are lots of restaurants & cafes nearby and it is walking distance to the city centre yet very quiet. Our hosts Chiara and Francesco were very helpful answering all our questions and showing up late in the night to let us into the apartment after our fight was delayed over 11 hours! Our favourite local cafe/bar was Caffe Notta & if you arrive late and are hungry you can get a shawarma close by. I highly recommend this lovely apartment in a magical part of town!

Great Little Apartment

The compact apartment is sized for 1or 2 and is perfectly located for walkable sightseeing in Florence. Access is from a narrow flight of stairs that should pose no problems for most guests but wouldn’t be appropriate for someone mobility concerns. WiFi worked great. The hosts were super thoughtful and responsive.

Quiet little apartment in an upscale, hip neighborhood with very friendly hosts

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It’s perfect for two people, and is close to all the shops, a variety of restaurants and a grocery store. It also has a washing machine, heat that’s easy to use and air conditioning. Chiara spent a full hour with us explaining how everything worked and answered every question we had. Really loved the neighborhood and host. Be advised that there is one steep and narrow flight of stairs to enter the apartment and no elevator/lift - suspect that’s typical of most Florence apartments but it is worth mentioning for anyone with mobility issues. We still loved our stay and recommend going to BBQ Trattoria, La Sorbettiera and the New Delhi Rotiscceria which are all in a row near the little park where Carrefour is located.

Great location

We appreciated the local neighborhood. It was close to everything we wanted to see. Francesco was a great host. Fast communication and he checked in with us regularly to see how we were doing. He met us at the apartment which we really appreciated. (Sometimes getting the locks on the doors can be a little tricky.) He spent time with us discussing the area and showing us where certain sites were on a map as well as recommendations on where to eat. (We highly recommend Deli 1819 on Porta Roma for good prepared dishes to take home. Believe it or not we needed a break from pasta! And we appreciated being able to relax at home on some evenings). His wife Ciara was really helpful in finding a flea market for me which I love to find in every city. We highly recommend their apartment and would stay again.

Florence the Italian Way

To base our visit to Florence in the Oltrarno section was perfect for us. Chiara met us upon arrival and explained all to us. We could walk easily to all points of interest or use public transportation which was very close. Don’t miss Piazza Santo Spirito. It was charming both day and night-don't miss it!
