Romantic apartment close to Palazzo Vecchio

In the area of Piazza della Signoria and Piazza Santa Croce. At the second and unique floor (NO elevator, one flightn of stair with 14 steps) in Via Vinegia n. 2, a small and very quiet road in a pedestrian area, this lovely and particular apartment has been completely restored and decorated with taste and care for any expectations you may have.

My sister and I take high pleasure to ensure our guests the best
staying by taking care of you since your very first enquiry to your departure..

We personally own and manage this apartment and the unit beside (the Francesca unit, ref. 8669907) you'll always be checked-in by one of us and we'll be avaialble for you any time for any question, help or need you may have..

Please take note our check in time is from 3 pm to 8 pm ON APPOINTMENT, no reception is available all day long
For check in after 8 pm to 10 pm we charge 30 euro
We do not accept check in after 10 pm


Both apartments belong to an ancient bulding dated back to the XIV century and share a private entrance from the road, in front of the magnificent stonewall of the medieval S. Remigio Church, in one of the oldest and most famous area of Florence.

The units can be booked togehter becomig a unique property and can accomodate up to 10 guests.

The location is so central that you can easily get back home any time of the day for a quick rest or a bite and go out again to visit this magnificent city.
With all kind of shops just around the corner and Piazza della Signoria at 1 minutes walk, these property are really in the centre of the centre!
With some of the best restaurants, ice-cream, fresh pasta, street food an coffee bar just around the corner you'll be able to enjoy your staying with no efforts trying to find out where you can have the best ice-cream of Florence!!

The Simona apartment has a master bedroom with a large queen bed, a twins' bedroom, a dining area with the kitchen and a large table that can comfortably accomodate up to 5 guests. The sitting room is provided with a large couch that can be transformed in a large single bed for a 5th guests, two bergere chairs, table coffee and tv, a full contemporary bathroom with a shower completes the interiors.







History and leisure: The entire historical centre of Florence has been declared World Heritage by the UNESCO and Via Vinegia is just in the middle of it! All the major sites are within walking distance: Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, Ponte vecchio, The Duomo, The magnificent church of Santa Croce: everything is just around the corner.
And if you like to try the very best food you have a choice of restaurants and, most of all, you are at 10 min. walking from one of the oldest and most famous market in Florence, The Sant'Ambrogio market where you can buy the most exquisite traditional food.. and as far as ice-cream is concerned, Vivoli (the most famous one) is at 3 min walking
Via de Neri, the road at 20 mt from Via Vinegia is full of all kind of shops: groceries, take away, chemistry, fruiters, ice-cream, bakeries, mini market, bars, laundry...
Anything you may need is just around the corner

Car: The centre of Florence is closed to car with specific rules. We suggest you NOT TO ARRIVE WITH A CAR if you can. You won't need (and you won't be allowed too) to use it during your staying in the city.
Florence is on the main fast trains line that connects all the main italian cities: Rome, Milan, Naples, Bologna.. on this line trains run every 20/30 minutes and the rides are definetely much shorter than a car trip.
Also from Venice fast trains are available and a train ride from Pisa airport takes only 1.10 hour..
So if you plan to take a car just to reach Florence we strongly recommend to check trains instead.

But in case you should have it, we will be glad to give you all the informations you may need for entering and parking in this area.

Great Location!

This apartment is centrally located and we walked everywhere. The patio is a great space and we enjoyed a bottle of wine out there. Being able to wash during our stay was very helpful. Simone was great and answered any question we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Apartment!

Just the right size for my friend and I to stay. Kitchen is well stocked and even has a washer in the bathroom, which came in handy. Nice shower too. Absolutely loved the private terrace for coffee in the morning and relaxing after being out all day. Simona, the owner, was extremely helpful with all questions and even set up taxis for us on arrival and to the airport the day we left.

Beautiful Florentine Apartment

The apartment in Florance is all that it advertises. It is well maintained and very comfortable. Netflix is available and the kitchen has everything one would need for your stay. The apartment is within minutes walk to every attraction and restaurant you would want to visit. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are spacious, considering Itailian apartments and the outdoor area is terrific when your day is done and you're sipping wine and discussing what a great day you had. Wonderful stay in the middle of Florence

We had a wonderful stay in Florence although the weather was really bad with heavy rain and flooding in parts of Florence. But our host Simona was very caring and worried about our safety during the flood and kept us updated all the time. The apartment is very nice and everything is in walking distance.

Fantastic Apartment

Very well appointed apartment. Ultra clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. Updated bathroom with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The outdoor terrace is a gem…great place for morning coffee and afternoon aperativo. Apartment is on a small side street and is close to major sights, shopping, restaurants. Simona was very responsive to all of our queries. She met us on arrival and explained all we needed to know, including how to operate the washing machine (which was easy). Highly recommend this apartment.

A return visit - lovely accommodation just as remembered

The apartment is very central and faces a beautiful old church. It is lovingly decorated with thoughtful provisions covering all one needs for a stay. Simona is a great host always and offers a perfect balance of privacy and help with inquiries if needing knowledge/support. Simona booked a taxi for help with my luggage and this was a much appreciated act of kindness. Florence is very busy since I visited 10 years ago. However due to this apartments proximity to many districts it’s a good base for early morning or late evening cultural visits when the crowds are distracted with sleeping or dining. The increased tourist crowds in Florence can make it incredibly noisy even for a city , but this apartment is tucked away on a relatively quiet street given its central location , which is much welcomed . The added use of a terrace with character is the bonus feature for warmer temperatures and if the temperature drops there’s a lounge with great character. The apartment has great security and being central in a city feels safe. It is easy to walk to Oltrano and the gardens across the river for nature and calm . Its final bonus is the easy walking distance to quieter areas of Florence where the company of locals is refreshing and offers a more authentic off the beaten track option to the main sights.

Beautiful, perfect location

The patio was my favorite place to begin and end my day. The condo had everything we needed for our family to cook the meals we wanted, and Simone gave amazing recommendations for the times we did not want cook. While we often lost our way wandering Florence, it seemed our home was always just 5 minutes away! Such a great place, in a beautiful city.

Incredible Location

Simona's apartment is in a wonderful location close to Signoria, the Uffizi, Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, and other locations in the central historic area. You are also right next to Santa Croce and a stone's throw away from the Santo Spirito across the Arno. The apartment is very clean and comfortable with a wonderful terrace to enjoy coffee in the morning or an evening discussion of the days events. The apartment is close to everything but also tucked away from busier streets. We had a great time on this return trip to Florence.

Amazing place

What a fantastic apartment in the heart of Florence! My family (5) and I stayed at this gem of an apartment which is just a stones throw from the bustling heart of the city. Simona, our host, was incredibly gracious with her time and taking care of my families needs. She was very communicative and made sure everything and everyone was taken care of completely. Convenient location

Accurate description with a well stocked kitchen. Basic amenities like salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The host even left us a package of pastries. It was a little tight for 5 adults with only 1 bathroom but we made it work for the few days we were there.
