Upon our arrival, the owner had misplaced the key to the main gate into the building, and (fortunately) by pure luck someone already in the building was able to let us in. But this meant we were more or less trapped in our room and could not leave until the property personnel brought us a new key 4 hours later.
One of the biggest problems was that the air conditioner was so weak and did not cool the upstairs whatsoever, so we resorted to sleeping on the main level. It was dirty, despite paying a 50 euro "cleaning fee" - couldn't walk around without shoes on otherwise your feet would turn grey, mould in the bialetti, mould in the washing machine, mould in the shower... The whole upstairs smelled of sewage.
It's a shame, this property has so much potential, but the owners just really seem to not care. I would not return here, certainly not in the summer time.
The only thing bringing this property from a 2 to 3 stars is its location which is walking distance to all main attractions, restaurants, as well as the train station.
