••• Apartment "Terrace with a View" ("Terrazza con Vista" in italian, terracewithaview) is a cosy and charming apartment located in Florence, in the elegant district of "Campo di Marte".
It is a very quiet, residential neighborhood, plenty elegant palaces, gardens and several amenities and facilities.
You'll find many shops/groceries/restaurants within 3/5 minutes walk: in Via Marconi street or Via Centostelle street.

••• You can reach Downtown Florence in 10 minutes by bus or in 20 mins by walk.
Bus stop is 100 metres far from the apartment.

The Campo di Marte rail station is about 700 metres far.
You’ll be really very close to all the main attractions and museums (Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Accademia...) but you’ll stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

••• The apartment’s surface is about 600 sq. ft. (55 square metres); it is composed by:
1 double bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room with comfortable sofa bed, kitchen.
Besides, there are 2 big and wonderful rooftop terraces for a total of almost 1000 sq. ft. (90 square metres).

••• The apartment sleeps up to 4 persons.

••• The apartment is on the 4° floor (lift arrives up to the 3rd floor) and it is the highest building of the area. You’ll enjoy a breathtaking view over Florence and all its monuments.

The first terrace is the biggest 650 sq. ft. (60 square metres), it has a direct access from the living room; you can enjoy your breakfasts, lunches and dinners while watching the Brunelleschi’s Dome, the Palazzo Vecchio bell tower, the etruscan village of Fiesole, the Vincigliata Castle and the sweet, rolling Chianti Hills...

The second terrace, about 300 sq. ft. (30 square metres), is set higher; a large and comfortable stair link the 2 terraces. This is the rooftop terrace, it is the highest in the area and offers stunning views at 360°.

Fabulous Time at Terrace with a View

Came here for work/vacation. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood. Great if you need to use the buses for transport. Far enough away from the touristy area to give you an authentic experience. Paula is amazing and the view cannot be beat!

We loved our stay here. Communication and ease of check in was great. Being pet friendly was one of the biggest bonuses to our stay. Amazing views, comfortable bed/pillows and the kitchen had everything we needed. I would stay here again!

LOVE THIS PLACE!

Loved my stay here. I stayed at several VRBO places in Italy over my 2 week vacation. This was by far my favorite. Off the beaten path of tourists, yet accessible to local sites of interest. The nearby cafes were great as well. The view was superb.

Beautiful Views. Great Location.

Great location with easy access to Florence via the bus system or walking. Beautiful terraces with amazing views of the city and Duomo! Very comfortable and peaceful home, just like coming home! Local bakery, coffee shop and restaurants were all wonderful and friendly.

My husband and I spent perfect Easter holidays in this apartment with great panoramic views of Florence from the roof top terrasses. Our host, Niccolo, was very helpful and responsive. Nearby neighbourhood restaurant Bodega di Bordo at Piazza Edison was truly excellent!

Outstanding Florence Retreat

We arrived from Rome and was greet by Paola. She had a map ready and markings of how to make the best of our stay. Her place was spotless and well set for evening dinners or just a charcuterie after our day excursions. She is the epitome of Italian spirit, energy and their famous hospitality. We hugged her. Gorgeous views and many pictures of the Tuscan sunset.

Tip- take Bus#7 across from Train station in front of Burger King and McDonalds. Be careful of pick pockets I almost got robbed. Exit at orange sign (8 stops) Volta Ferraris 7 21 Stadium is close by so check schedule for games

5 Star every step of the way. From when I first booked all the way to checking out, Niccolo was amazing. Met us at the property and went over a map, and gave us tons of great recommendations. The place was spotless, stocked, and the view is even better than the pictures. Niccolo took us on a tour of Chianti and taught us a lot about olives, wine, and the history of Florence. Next time I am in Florence I will absolutely book again. Highly recommend.

Eye Popping views!!!

This apartment is everything you see in the listing. Amazing! Loved the neighborhood, coffee-drink shop Aiem is wonderful. The bakery on the corner Amazing, and a block over the Carrefor grocery has everything! About 6-8 blocks away is a great restaurant known as I Giuggiolo. Niccolo is a great guy. Don't hesitate on this one.

Great Firenze Neighborhood!

We arrived late one evening, and what a lovely welcome! Mama, Paolo, greeted us with such enthusiasm and warmth it took the "train lag" right out of us. Wonderful dinner recommendation and the the gelato recommendation was superb. Just very sad we were here for only one short night. It is definitely a great spot, quick to get anywhere, quiet neighborhood feel with amazing view from your terrace.... Recco to go to Fiesole was a great one as well, thanks Paolo! Will stay next time in town.
