The accommodations were comfortable and the location was wonderful. The condo does show some wear and tear, and could benefit from a paint touch up and deep cleaning on the furniture especially, but we were happy overall. We felt safe and were easily able to get to everything that Florence has to offer on foot.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Duomo Luxury Loft for three nights. We had a had a comfortable stay here. The unit was very clean, the location is great overall and the host was very friendly. I rated it four stars because of a few minor things. There is no internet included in the unit. There are two routers, but the owner does not provide service so if you're trying to conserve data then you'll have to find a local cafe which is inconvenient. Separately, there were no blankets, only top sheets for the bed. We just raised the AC temp so it was a non issue, and the host probably would've provided some if we asked. Finally, the unit is nice but not as bright as the photos suggest.All of these are fairly minor, but combined did add up. It's a good option for a couple looking for more space than a hotel in a good location, or potentially a family of four that is willing to share a single bathroom.

No toilet paper

I was disappointed with my stay. The total price was not fully disclosed upfront—significant additional fees, including late check-in and taxes, were only revealed after booking. Had I known the full cost, I would not have reserved this property. Upon arrival, the check-in person refused to release the keys until I provided cash, which was extremely inconvenient, especially since I had to find an ATM and my card wasn’t working.The property itself also had issues: there was no toilet paper provided, the loft area had a very low ceiling (I hit my head multiple times going upstairs), and the toaster oven and microwave did not function properly. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not worth the hassle.

Wonderful loft near all the famous sites in Florence

We really enjoyed staying at this loft. It is very spacious. The check-in process was very smooth and communication with us through WhatsApp was great, since we had a last-minute trip to Pisa on our check-in day. Overall it was a positive experience with no major concerns and check-out was also easy. There is some leaking water from the shower that gets the floor wet and many light bulbs throughout the unit need to be replaced.

Duomo Luxury Loft was a great stay all around. Hosts communication was good. There were a few things we needed and he brought for us. The Loft is spacious and once you settle in, very comfortable. Location is very central and beds numerous and cozy. We would highly recommend!

Luxuriously Quiet Apartment

Loved this property. It was such a cool space, so different from my drab American life. The walk up the "secret stairwell" to the apartment was dreamy. The heavy wooden door made way into a gigantic interior space that felt really comfortable. The bathroom was so well appointed, and the shower had double shower heads. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Will 100% book again!

Very secured. We felt comfortable with the fact you have to go through many doors and steps to reach the front door. The front door is very difficult to open and close. The apartment was extremely hot when we arrived, I would recommend that the air conditioning is turned on when the guests say they are 30 minutes out as requested by host. The apartment needs more towels and lacked accommodations for a place to hold or hang clothing.

Awesome loft!

This property was spacious both in the living space and bathroom compared to most hotels in the area. We had 4 adult children with us and they also commented that they liked the accomodations being close to dining and other shops. Next time we will stay longer. We were there for 1 night only.

We had a mistake with booking and it didn’t have our kids showing as guests. It took them 3 days to bring extra towels and sheets. After being promised at our arrival they would be delivered. Bed was a futon mattress and I felt like I was back college, but 30 years older. Not comfortable whatsoever. Shower over flowed because drain was backed up. Oven didn’t work. When AC and dishwasher were on it kept tripping the electrical breaker. No microwave, no way to make coffee, no cork screw to open wine. The place had tons of mosquitoes and we never opened the windows. My kids were eaten alive. No clue how they kept getting in. Place looks killer in the pictures.

Amazing Rome Apartment

The property is beautiful, and is just across the street from the Colosseum. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We had a great reception and enjoyed every minute of our stay. 10/10. We will return for another stay.

Great place with caveats

The loft location is wonderful, quick walking distance to the main area of Florence and great restaurants. The loft is spacious, quiet and a nice reprieve from the busy streets. For our 7 day, six night stay we were provided with only one bath and hand towel each which was not sufficient. The kitchen had no towels at all and no dishwasher soap so although there was a dishwasher it was useless unless we bought dishwasher soap or bought towels to hand wash! We did end up having to buy supplies that should normally be provided in order to use the kitchen. Additionally the kitchen has no coffee or espresso maker. There are no written instructions for using anything in the loft which would be very helpful. So, although it’s a great location, know that the apartment is very sparse and you will be buying supplies to use the listed amenities.

Great location, within walking distance to everything, museums, great restaurants (many options). The apartment was nice and as described. The entry sequence was a little odd to get in (maze like) tight corridors, and stairs but you are in an old city. Enjoyed our stay.

Think Twice Before Booking

My fiancé and I booked this place for vacation. We were very excited as it had great reviews and was in a good location. However as soon as we arrived the check in process was a mess. We waited over 30 minutes even though we provided a 30 minute heads up (as instructed) and the individual who checked us in was very unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable. He barely spoke English (which is fine) but also did not speak to us in Italian (a language I also speak). Never introduced himself and just asked for our passports so he could take a photo on his iPhone (NO THANK YOU!). When asked why he had no reasoning. The whole process was very abrupt and made us feel very unsafe. Especially when we tried to open and close the door with an overly warped floor that I physically could not handle myself. We ended up leaving the property and tried to work something out with the management company who was unwilling to make anything right. Overly disappointed in this experience as safety is a number 1 priority and should be for all. This was the first time I ever ran into this and have rented may VRBOs in the past. Would really think twice before booking here and reconsider if already booked and still in the cancellation window.
